Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 410

As they left the police station, Natalie couldn't stop staring at Terence, not wanting to so much as blink.

She had never looked at him like this before.

Terence felt a little self-conscious. "Natalie, why are you looking at me like that?"

His voice was gentle now, a stark contrast to the man he had been just moments ago.

Natalie’s gaze was intense. "Do you have some kind of superpower?"

"A superpower?"

"Like, can you hear people's thoughts? Or see their past? Or maybe you can predict the future or something."

Though the words sounded absurd, Natalie was completely serious. Terence's performance had been nothing short of miraculous.

That was it. He didn't seem human.

She was utterly captivated by him.

How had he managed to see through everyone's lies in such a short amount of time and even produce a witness and physical evidence?

It was as if every piece of the puzzle had fallen right into his lap. A person like that had to be either psychic or clairvoyant.

He definitely wasn't a man; he was a god.

Terence's lips curved into a slight smile. "You're always so serious. I didn't realize you had a sense of humor."

In front of Terence, Natalie was always proper, serious, and composed.

But right now, she couldn't contain her admiration for him.

It wasn't just because he had sent Marie to prison, but because his abilities were simply astounding.

When Darren found Martha to prove Mrs. Peterson had stolen the necklace, Natalie had thought it was over. She assumed Mrs. Peterson would lose her credibility to accuse Marie, and that Darren’s desperate efforts to save Marie would succeed.

The thought of Marie getting away with it had filled her with bitterness.

But then Terence, who had been silent the whole time, stepped in while everyone else was putting on a show and pinpointed the location of the missing necklace.

How did he find out? And with a witness and evidence, no less.

He had remained so calm even when Darren presented false testimony, only to turn the tables and utterly dismantle their case, leaving them with no defense.

Natalie desperately wanted to know why. She moved closer, listening intently, only to hear Terence say...

"Because I won't let anyone who hurts you get away with it."

His words sent a jolt through her.

Because he wouldn't let anyone who hurt her get away with it.

"Even if I have to move heaven and earth, I'll make sure that anyone who bullies you gets exactly what they deserve."

A sudden warmth spread through Natalie's chest, a comforting pulse that flowed through her entire body, making her feel as though she was coming alive again.

She quickly pulled back, not wanting Terence to see the emotional turmoil on her face.

She didn't want him to see how flustered and moved she was.
