“What are you doing? Lucas is the one who hurt us! Why aren’t you going after him? Why are you taking your anger out on your own child?”

He was Terence’s son, a five-year-old boy!

Victoria said nervously, “I haven’t been brainwashing him, just telling him the truth! Now that the Cross Group has collapsed, he has a right to know why. Mr. Lockwood, since you’re so concerned about children, you should know that we’ve lost our house. The boy has nowhere to live. And with Darren in this state, a child needs a stable environment.”

“So what are you getting at?”

Victoria said smugly, “Natalie is Hanley’s mother. You should take Hanley with you and take care of him! Mr. Lockwood, you don’t mind raising Natalie’s son for her, do you? Raising a grandson for the Cross family?”

Victoria was deliberately trying to provoke Terence. She didn’t believe any man would be generous enough to raise another man’s child.

Even with all his wealth, he wouldn't want a woman who was another man’s castoff!

Natalie’s eyes were cold. “Victoria, I’ve told you before, I will not take Hanley back. We all know what you’re thinking, so stop being so disgusting.”
