Simon was trying his best to flirt with Angela, but she just wanted to gouge her own eyes out.
She looked at Simon haughtily and said, “My Terence is the best choice. I've known since I was a child that I was going to marry him. As for you, stay out of my sight!”
Simon couldn't believe his advances were so worthless in Angela's eyes. She only had eyes for that cripple, Terence.
What was so great about that cripple?
Since childhood?
Natalie looked at Terence. So they’d grown up together, her pining after him all these years.
Angela had loved Terence for so many years. And she still loved him so much despite his leg injury. It seemed like true love.
In that moment, Natalie suddenly felt for Angela. She could understand her hostility.
All those years of devotion couldn't compete with her, the newcomer.
And the worst part was, she, the newcomer, really wasn't worthy of Terence.
Natalie didn’t utter a word, but Terence felt the shift in her mood instantly, the faint, fraying edge of disquiet rolling off her in waves.
Angela looked at Natalie. “Natalie, since I was a child, I've worked hard and held myself to the strictest standards, preparing to be Terence's wife. You're nothing. What gives you the right to be with him?”
Angela’s chest burned with a bitter, all-consuming resentment. If Terence had chosen someone truly out of her league, she might have been able to cry it out and move on.
After all, she loved Terence and wanted him to be happy.
And she knew his personality; if he fell for someone, it was real, and her protests would be useless.
But to her surprise, both Terence and Mrs. Lockwood trusted Natalie completely. She could have died from anger!
And now Natalie's brother was backing her up, too, leaving Angela feeling isolated and weak.
She was an Everhart! When had she ever been in such a pathetic situation? Angela said angrily, “You all protect Natalie so fiercely. But whether she even has Terence in her heart is another question. After all, old feelings don’t just vanish overnight. Are you so sure she's over her ex-husband?
I heard that nothing sordid happened between him and Marie, that it was all just a misunderstanding. Once a misunderstanding is cleared up, it's only natural to get back together.”
Angela's words made both Terence's and Victoria's expressions darken.
Victoria chimed in, “That's right, that's right! My son doesn't like Marie at all. I was the one who lost my mind and pushed him to be with Marie.
It was because I drugged my son's soup, but he never crossed the line. It was all a misunderstanding.”

I think Terence must know something isn't right about Angela, that's why he agreed to figure it out....
Marie needs to be gone, she has caused enough trouble for Natalie. This is getting boring!...
This fiasco needs to end. Natalie and Terrance need to be together and in my mind somehow those twins are Natalie’s....
Time for Marie to get her end, this has gone on way too long, time to move on. It’s getting boring....
Payback time. Waiting for chapters 321 onwards!...
I love the sarcastic comebacks. Quite amusing!...
