Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 729

Angela pointed a finger at Darren, furious. “Even if Natalie competed, the crown would still be mine. I’m an Everhart. I have the education, the figure, and the looks. I am the deserving champion!”

“That’s just your opinion,” Darren said with a dismissive tone. “In my eyes, Natalie is the most wonderful woman in the world.”

Angela burst out laughing, practically doubled over.

“Is that so? And yet you’re the one who lost her. What a shame. You lost the most wonderful woman in the world. You must be kicking yourself.”

Angela winked, her eyes full of mockery. Darren was so angry he felt like he needed medical attention himself.

“I’m done talking to you.”

Darren turned to go back to his room, but after a few steps, something felt off. He turned back to Angela. “What did you mean before, when you said she has an advantage because of her face?”

A proud woman like Angela would never admit that Natalie was prettier. So what did she mean by that?

“Now you want to ask me?” Angela said with a smirk. “Well, I’m not in the mood to tell you. Goodbye!”

Angela turned and walked away, leaving Darren standing there, a strong feeling that her words were important.

Why would Terence be interested in Natalie? As wonderful as Natalie was, she had been his wife. Why didn’t Terence care? There had to be something more to it, and it seemed like Angela knew the truth.

Natalie won Terence over just by “trading on her looks.” What on earth did that mean?

“Natalie, I know you didn’t sue Mom, and I know you wouldn’t have the heart to. Even though she’s the one who swapped you and Marie, you know how good she was to you all these years. She even treated you better than me. Natalie, can’t you forgive her?”

Better to her than to Fiona?

Natalie found that laughable. Growing up, her mother had always favored Fiona.

She never thought much of it, though. Fiona was the younger sister, and Natalie felt that as the older one, she shouldn't be petty. She believed she should help her mother take care of Fiona. So she never dwelled on it. But now she knew the truth—she had been switched. She wasn’t even their biological child.

“Is that right? She was better to me than to you? Then why don’t you ask her why she always added sugar when she cooked, since you’re the one who likes sweet food. And ask her why, when you went to college, she scraped together every last penny to pay for it, but when I got into college, she tried to convince me to drop out, get a job, and just marry a rich man someday. Furthermore…”

Natalie was about to continue, but Fiona looked deeply uncomfortable. “Natalie, stop. That was just because I was younger than you, so Mom favored me a little more.”
