Parker
He stood waiting in the Alpha hallway for Belladonna and the children to come out and go downstairs to join him and his unit for breakfast, like he’d asked her too. He’d already waved his unit and their family’s on passed him as he’d leaned against the wall by her door.
Shannon had smiled right at him. That man knew what was going on and not only with Parker but with Belladonna as well. Shannon had mind-linked to him last night. ‘Don’t torment your Mate too much now, she’s a wee bit confused right this moment.’ His Gamma had chuckled ‘about your intentions, she doesn’t know you know. He’d snorted and cut the mind-link.
He’d seen Kane and Axel smile at him as they’d walked by, as well, and although he was sure Shannon hadn’t relayed the news of what he, as the pack’s Gamma, had picked up on. That yes, Belladonna did feel their Mate Bond; knew what they were to each other.
Was, it appeared, keeping that to himself for now, Shannon probably liked having that little bit of knowledge all to himself. Being the only one to truly know everything, either that or he thought if both Kane and Axel knew they might push Belladonna a little in his direction.
Parker had already texted Whit this morning, so he knew they’d not left the suite, were still in there getting ready for the day. But he’d also sent a message back that stated “Mum’s a bit off this morning.”
“She’s fine,” Parker had sent right back. “I openly told her what I wanted last night.” He’d text back to Whit, he wasn’t going to hide that from his son. Whit already knew what his intentions were. “She’s probably just a bit nervous is all,” he’d added a moment later.
She’d been nervous around his attention, and he knew it was because she’d never had to deal with love, full attraction and emotions before; no emotions that weren’t all about the children.
“Oh.” had been his son’s response.
Parker leaned off the wall when the door to their suite opened, and he smiled at Whit, who stepped out
r first “Morning son.” He greeted him warmly.
“Hi dad.” Whit smiled back.
Milly came out and smiled right up at him, and he smiled right down at her. “Don’t you look pretty in your yellow dress and pigtails.” He’d held his hands out to her, and she’d come right to him to be picked up, and he gave her a bit of a tickle, and she’d giggle up at him, as Belladonna came out into the hallway and pulled the door closed herself.
Parker smiled at Belladonna as she looked at her children. Milly sitting in the crook of his arm, happy to be there. She was trying to tickle him back now. “Morning Belladonna.” He greeted her. “You look lovely this morning.” He told her and she did.
She was wearing a knee-length russet brown dress with tiny white and pink flowers all over it, that had
mid length sleeves and a deep V neckline. She was wearing ballet flats and her hair was neatly pulled up into a braid that had a few loose strands framning her lovely face, and he noticed she appeared to be wearing a soft pink lipstick as well.
She did look lovely and as he slid his eyes over her, he saw that there was no scar down the center of her chest. He motioned for her to walk next to him. Whit was already walking along in front of them, comfortably moving about inside the packhouse. Like it was his home now, something that Parker liked
seeing.
“No scar,” he stated simply.
“No,” she answered and looked down at her chest. “Venus must have worked overtime on that while I was
sleeping.”
“Agreed.” Parker nodded. “Or she’s a natural-born healer!” Anything was possible. “Though, maybe Selena saw fit to remove it, seeing as she was the reason you got it in the first place.” he murmured thoughtfully as Milly wriggled to be put down.
He put her down and she ran off to catch up with Whit to press the elevator button before Whit did.
“Anything is possible,” Belladonna nodded.
He smiled at her. “Did you sleep well?” he asked softly, a little playful teasing note to his voice. “I did.” He
murmured.
“I always sleep well.” She answered him, and he knew she was trying to ignore his flirting with her.
