Parker
Parker had requested that Belladonna be present when he arrived at the pack, not to just have her there for no reason, but to let her know that he was inside the pack, and not be surprised by it, or annoyed at suddenly seeing him, if he was unannounced to be there.
He was only a little surprised that she’d not punished Gregory Lewis; because he didn’t think she had it in
her to do that. He was more surprised that she’d stated Whitney hadn’t. The boy probably took after his
mother, he’d thought, but then to hear her state he had his temper. That bothered him. He’d never really
gotten angry with her, only that one time.
He could only put that down to it must have made an impression on her and not one he wanted her to think of him as. A big part of him wanted to go over there and beat the hell out of Carina’s father. But another part of him didn’t want Whitney to hear about it, from others inside the pack that would see it.
He didn’t want his son’s first impression of him to be anger and rage, so he’d wait until he’d been introduced and ask his son what he thought should be done. He’d been robbed of not just his father being in his life, but his title as the Heir to Lustrous Moon because of that man over there hanging from that tree.
It was likely Whitney had his own thoughts on the matter. The boy was nine and capable of understanding everything that went on back then, and was only just now coming to light and all that was going on around
him, now.
He and Kane grabbed their bags and followed Luna Mala into the packhouse and to a suite up on the first floor, while Aston was showing Alpha Gretta and her guards to their rooms.
Mala looked right at him. “Now, Alpha Parker, your length of stay here inside this pack, will be determined by what Bell and Whitney want, not by your insistence on being and Alpha, who thinks he has the rights, to
call the shots around here.”
“I understand,” Parker nodded. “Belladonna is also an Alpha–blooded wolf, she has as much right as I do… Probably more so at this point, I’m not here to just grab my son and go,” He told her.
“Good, that would see a war and though you have 1000 warriors to your conglomerate, I highly doubt they are trained like mine. Would you like to see the elite training that is attended here? Those that go out there and defend alongside myself and Ben; are our personal units. They can handle 3 to one, and I have 300 of them, just so you know.”
Parker smiled at her. He understood this was her way of politely warning him that he would not win a battle against her if it started. “I’m good Luna, I’ve also seen you fight, in the arena.” He shook his head
slightly.
She smiled at him. “It has been awhile, and I’ve increased my skills considerably since then.”
“Mm, I also have no intention of forcing Belladonna’s hand. Though I guess my intent is clear to all,” he
stated
“Mm.” she nodded. “An Alpha who’s just found out he’s got a child. Your intent is to have him go and live within your pack.”
“Not exactly Luna, but also yes at the same time.”
“Hmm, so you want Bell as well then?” she asked outright.
“Yes, I will not separate her from her child.” He nodded.
“That’s not what you had written into your mating alliance.” She commented, allowing him to know she’d
seen it.
“Not my clause. Her own Luna put that in. I found it odd but signed it because what Alpha wouldn’t want their own child. I would, however, never actually have made Belladonna leave the child with me and kick her from the pack. I would simply have asked her to stay and raise it with me inside the pack.”
“You follow all your contracts to the letter,” she commented.
“I do,” he nodded. “Belladonna though, I would never have parted from if there was a child. Things would
“Ah…” she nodded. “That is your intent now then.”
