Parker

They were at a white water rafting place in Oklahoma City, something Whit had picked himself after

looking at the places they could do his favourite water sport, and Whit he could see was super excited.

Parker could see that his son really did enjoy doing this: He had spent the entire car ride talking about the other places that Aston and Ben had taken the pack’s children to or places Belladonna had taken them too

as well.

It wasn’t something he or his unit had done before and Whit was certain they’d all love it. He was raring to go. Belladonna was sitting this one out, and had opted to stay with Milly and the other smaller children that couldn’t go on the rapids because they were too young.

She was sitting talking with Katie, Nicky and Bridget. All of them would be able to watch from a big–screen TV in the café they were sitting in at the white water rafting place. They would have their own turn afterwards.

Whit had only sighed once at hearing they were going to a built place and not be on an actual river itself. Parker had explained to him that none of them had ever rafted before, and so he felt this was the safest option for a first time event for the other kids as well as himself and the unit.

That if they all liked it and wanted to go again, they could look into going on an actual river rafting trip. There were a few east of the pack. That had made Whit happy, but Parker had a full surprise planned for all the children of his unit after this little adventure, and hadn’t told a single one of them.

That they were all headed off to a waterpark after this for a few hours of fun in the sun; the day was nice. He’d already purchased all the tickets for the latest water park resort. It wasn’t like him to be out of the office for fun recreational things like this, and he found it was a nice change of pace.

He’d never minded that his unit and their families did this, heading out for a day or weekend away; family time is what he’d seen it as, but seeing as he’d had no family himself, he’d just focused upon work. It was how he’d always been.

He looked at Belladonna sitting with his unit’s Mates and asked, “Belladonna, are you sure you don’t want to join us?” He wanted to do this with her and Whit, all together.

“I’m good, Milly’s not old enough.” She smiled at him. “Go and have fun with Whit. This is the thing he loves the most, loves it even more than his own mother.” She teased Whit.

Who snorted, fully amused “Yeah I do.” Whit had teased right back.

They were off for the safety talk, leaving the girls to look after the smaller children. Kristy and Nicky were going to have a go after they had, but Bridgit had shaken her head ‘no‘. She was actually an outgoing person, and it surprised him a little that she’d declined this. She’d stated it looked like fun but had then just shaken her head.

He got the feeling there was something more to it, but had left it alone. If there was a reason for the no, she wouldn’t do anything to risk it, and he didn’t blame her. He’d also not asked Axel. It was their business and one didn’t go smelling a she–wolf that was mated to another, that was rude and offensive, and it started fights as well.

The rafting was an experience, but the kids had lots of fun and in the hour they were there, he and the boys took turns with the girls to go out there with the kids. Whit was adamant the last ride had to be amped up to the hardest rapids that could be set to the place.

The instructor took the group when all the parents gave their permission. Jasmine was super pumped about it, took to the white water rafting very quickly and never missed a turn. She came out of this last round soaked through, and was laughing it up with Whit himself, who was just as soaked as she was. It was good to see them all getting along.

Kane had smiled at his daughter. “I think this is going to be her thing.” He’d chuckled to Parker.

“Looks like it,” Parker nodded happily.

“You can blame Aston and Ben for that.” Belladonna laughed. She’d gone with them on that last ride while Milly had sat with Bridgit. He’d said he could watch her, but she’d already been sitting at a table with Bridgit and had just stayed there.

“That is something we could all do together,” he’d smiled. He could plan that for next week before they went back to Hollowed Moon. He’d waited for the kids to all be changed and smiled at them as they’d gotten to their cars. “So, who’s up for a water park and some water slide fun?” he’d asked casually. All the kids had been around him in a flash. “Yes.” They’d all yelled up at him.

“Yes” Belladonna nodded and smiled. She already knew about the water park. All the adults did so they could pack for it without the kids knowing about it. They were off for a few hours of swimming, slides and water park fun.
