Chapter 86
Chapter 86
(ElD
A low growl echoed in the living room. A werewolf. I just knew it without turning. Werewolves hunted my mom for a long time and one of them seemed to be stalking me. That’s why I should be running for the hills by now. But I couldn’t make my feet cooperate. Goosebumps prickled all over my skin as I felt his lips skimmed my ear.
Of all time and place, my body chose this moment to be aroused and worse, over a man whose face I hadn’t seen yet. I’d only heard his voice, felt his broad, muscular chest pressed against my back, and yet, my body was responding wantonly.
My cheeks heated. This was a terrible night. What had I become in a span of minutes? A trespasser, a food thief, and now, I was acting like some depraved woman in heat?
But all my senses felt unbelievably alive tonight. How could this happen? It was like a switch had been flipped inside me upon entering this man’s house.
“Answer me.”
What was his question again? And why was he standing so close to me? I kept getting distracted. I had no idea that pregnant women could still feel lust like this.
“You are not going to answer?”
How could I? My body was melting. My mind chose this excellent time to be dumb. His wolf’s howl was ringing in my ears, like it was calling to me. My senses were overloading.
“Then I hope whoever your master is, he rewards you for your loyalty in your next life. Nice dress, by the way. You picked a good one for your funeral-”
“The dragon king!” I blurted out, my chest pounding. Anything related to death turned out to be the key word. My mind was working again. If he was a werewolf, he must have known about my clan, right? “His Excellency sent me here.”
I couldn’t possibly tell him the truth and embarrass the hell out of my clan. That I sucked at being a half-breed and must have made an unknown spell which led me here.
“In the middle of the night?” he growled.
“Y-yes.”
I would apologize to my uncle later.
“He sent you here for what?”
“You will find out once you talk to him.”
This way, the stranger would contact the dragons to confirm, and they would pick me up.
“What is your name and rank?”
Rank?
I felt whatever object he was holding press harder against my skin. “Elianna Rosewood Beckett, high rank.”
He froze and I let out a sigh of relief. He must have heard about me, right? The dragons’ heir? To my surprise, I heard the stranger chuckle. Just when I thought I was safe, he suddenly bit my earlobe, making me gasp.
“What the fuck kind of rank is that? Are you kidding me?”

Chapter 86
“I’m telling the truth. I have a high rank. I am their princess!”
“Whatever you say, princess,” he mocked and removed the dagger at last. “Raise your hands and turn around.”
I did as he commanded and raised both my hands, the left one still holding a half-eaten ham and cheese sandwich that I took with me when I invaded his kitchen. When I finally faced him, I was greeted by the hottest man I’d ever seen in my entire life.
The gray-eyed stranger was only wearing pants and nothing else, revealing those tantalizing abs and muscles. The sight was making my heart work overtime. Being with the dragons who were undoubtedly the most stunning creatures in the world, I thought I’d seen all the best people the world could offer. But this werewolf, an alpha for sure, could compete against their looks and body.
His gaze was digging into me, from the sandwich I was holding, to my face, down to my chest. I could swear he could see the tips of my breasts hardening through the thin fabric before his gaze wandered further down to the swell in my belly.
My cheeks were rounder now. My breasts were fuller. I’d gained weight. I’d become bigger. And for the past weeks, I wasn’t feeling anything at all other than being drained and empty when I looked at myself in the mirror. But tonight, my face flushed. In front of this alpha, the confidence I’d just gained from entering his domain disappeared.
I felt… small and no longer as beautiful as before. Yet, the second I saw hunger flashing in those stormy gray orbs even in my current condition, it sent a fresh wave of arousal through me. I could see the tent forming in his pants, redeeming my confidence.
What kind of craving was this? I thought pregnant women only craved food and more gold for dragons. How come I was craving this man? To be touched by those big hands? To feel his solid body against mine? This was dangerous. The more he stared at me, the more my horny gauge increased.
I was getting worse by the second. I needed to go back to the island. I needed my pink toy as soon as possible. I needed it inside me.
I cleared my throat. “As you can see, I’m not a spy.”
“I don’t know. I’m not convinced yet,” he answered in a raspy voice.
“What more do you need?”
The alpha crossed the distance between us and untied my hair which fell down over my shoulders and then he began reaching for my neck, behind my ears, and then on my nape, making me shiver. His touch felt so good that I almost closed
my eyes.
“What are you doing?” I whispered.
“Body search,” he replied as he pressed his body closer to mine. His hands wandered slowly to my back and then to my ass, sending electricity down to my spine, and I fought the urge to moan. “I need to make sure that you are not an enemy, that you are not hiding weapons that could take me down.”
“Look at me. Do I look like I’m carrying weapons?”
He stared at my mouth, at my heaving chest, and then down below. “Yes, you do. There are weapons that can be concealed with mana, princess. Fortunately, I can detect one.”
I should push him away. If he were any other man, I knew I would do that in a heartbeat. The problem was that my body was against it. His hands went back to my shoulders down to the side of my breasts. His eyes turned darker as he continued the search. His hands stopped at my belly for a brief moment, his Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, before his hands went to my thighs.
“I’m not hiding anything there, you bastard,” I croaked, my nipples were hard and aching.

What was I becoming? I couldn’t believe I wanted more.
“You sure do, Vicious.” Without warning, he cupped my core. “Found it. The weapon.”
