Roc walked me toward Mrs. Castle’s office, and we found her finishing a call. She disconnected immediately upon seeing us and gave us a bright, warm smile. She walked toward me, her palm gently rubbing my arm.

I closed the door again and took a step back to double–check when her voice came from ahead.

“It’s my bedroom. I moved your things to the guest room,” Viviana said, her statement melting me with its casual cruelty. I could only stare at her in stunned awe.

Quietly, I walked back into the living room where my three brothers stood and sighed shakily, looking up at Roc instead.

bedroom. I want it back,” I requested softly, but beneath that softness was the rising panic that had begun to claw at me.

Before Roc could respond, Viviana walked closer, staring at me almost in awe, as though she couldn’t pinpoint what was going on.
