This was the first time for Rania to go by water transportation and she was a little bit nervous because of that.

It was dark outside, because it was still night time, but in the further distance, Rania could see little lights blinking. It was the city light of Greenstone pack.

Maximus held Rania closely, because the wind was rather harsh during the night.

“Careful,” Maximus said, he helped her to sit on a wooden block. He took off the jacket he was wearing and draped it on Rania’s shoulders.

Rania knew that Maximus wanted to unite the other six kingdom, but he only made an obvious move against Barlukan kingdom, while with the other kingdoms, he used a diplomacy.

“That’s a shitty place,” Maximus said casually. “There is nothing good

there.”

Rania frowned when she heard that. “I am sure that place is not that bad, right?”

“You should see it by yourself and you will understand what I mean with

that.” Maximus caressed her cheeks and then kissed her hair. She smelled so divine. He wanted to bury himself inside her, but unfortunately, she had been not feeling well.

He would be a monster if he forced himself into her.

“Is it that bad?” Rania grimaced. Maximus had told her a few times about how the previous king of the Barlukan had mistreated his people. It was so bad to the point Rania couldn’t believe someone would be able to rule that way without anyone tried to retaliate.
