Maximus was smiling to see Rania snuggling against the pillow with her little mouth was slightly ajar. She snores softly.

Therefore, hesitantly, he ended the kiss and went to the bathroom to clean himself first, only then he joined Rania in the bed.

He pulled her closer, where Rania snuggled against his chest and buried her face in his arms. Her body was soft and smell so good.

“You are already helping me. Stay by my side and that’s the only help I want from you.”

“I want to stay by your side as your equal, not someone that constantly needs your protection. I want to help you to build this kingdom…” Rania then added sheepishly. “If you allow me.”

Maximus groaned when he heard that. “This is your kingdom too, you are the queen for this kingdom.”
