Eiten couldn’t leave Bella on her won when he knew there were a few enemies around. Even though, he doubted they would take this little girl with them, as their captive, but the thought of her being in the slightest danger didn’t sit well with Eiten.

“Momma is in the greenhouse,” Bella said, she pointed at the direction of the greenhouse.

“Fine, I will take you there,” Eiten said lightly, and then he headed towards the greenhouse with the little girl in his arms.

And his intuition was right because right at that time, two beasts leapt from the bushes to attack him and Bella.

These beasts smelled like rogues, therefore it didn’t take a genius to guess that they were the remaining warriors of the Barlukan kingdom.

Bella screamed when Eiten moved so fast to avoid the attack, she hugged Eiten’s neck tightly and buried her face on his shoulder when she heard the beasts growled viciously.

“Get down for a while, okay? I am going to take care of these imbeciles,” Eiten said to Bella, as he mindlink the other warriors to come.

“No,” Bella whimpered. “I am scared.”

“Don’t be scared, okay? I am here. I will not let anything happen to you.” Eiten was serious with his words, he would rather die than to let these imbeciles touched a hair of this little girl.

But, before he could put Bella down, one of the beasts had started to attack him.

Without a second thought, Eiten shifted into his beast and Bella fell on her butt, though it was not hurt, but she was scared of the fight.

She curled herself close to the wall, as she watched everything unfolded, she tried not to cry.

Meanwhile, Eiten had to fight two beasts at the same time. He was not scared for himself, but he was scared for the little girl behind him. It made him was unable to focus and one of the enemies managed to get on his back and rip a good chunk of his flesh.

Eiten turned around and ripped the beast apart by its throat.

Of course, this was not the sight that he wished for Bella to see, she was too little to witness such cruelty, but he needed to end the fight soon, since he could sense there were three more rogues came closer to them.
