Chapter 287
“No, please… come here…” Eiten forced the words out of his mouth, and it hurt him so badly. He felt like his throat was being ripped opened, and he had a hard time to breathe. “Please, don’t go…” Despite the pain, he still tried to make Eli stay
However, Eli was panic, she immediately grabbed Bella, who was still sleeping. She carried her daughter and was about to leave the room when she heard a loud sound from behind her.
And when she turned around, she saw Eiten was already on the floor, he was trying to get out of the bed, but his body was still too weak to do so.
Seeing this, Eli widened her eyes and immediately put Bella back to the sofa and approached Eiten.
“Are you, okay? Is there anywhere hurt?” Panic filled her voice. She felt bad, therefore when Eiten stretched out his hand, she grabbed it with the intention to bring him back to the bed, but instead, Eiten hugged her.
“Don’t go. Don’t leave…” Eiten said in a hoarse voice, his throat was very dry, as if he was eating sand. He then remembered that one of the rebel warriors managed to slash his throat. Damn that man. Good thing Eiten had ripped him apart.
However, of course, the wound had healed, but it still left him in pain, especially when he lost so much blood.
“Don’t go. Stay, please,” Eiten said in a small voice. He ignored the pain and hugged Eli tightly, which made her flustered.
“O… okay,” Eli said, her voice was slightly trembling. She then helped Eiten to get back to the bed. “Come, you need to get to the bed. Lean on me.”
Yet, Eiten was too big and heavy for Eli to help him up. She failed a few times before she decided to ask for help.
“I am going to ask for help,” Eli said, but Eiten tightened his arms around her body, prevented her from leaving.
“Royal gamma Eiten,” Eli called her name, she felt bashful with how close they were, but that was the least of Eiten’s worry, if anything, the gamma wanted them to be closer than this.
“Eiten,” Eiten said with difficulty.
“What?”
“Call me Eiten. I want you to call me by my name…”
Eli was stunned and she didn’t know how to response to that. She bit her lip, while Eiten was waiting for her to call him the way he wanted it.
Yet, it was not Eli, who called him, instead it was Bella, the little girl apparently watched everything unfolded. She was awake when her mother carried her to leave the room, but because of her panic, Eli didn’t notice that Bella had opened her when she put her down on the sofa again.
“Eiten,” Bella said. She jumped from the sofa and then approached the two of them.
Hearing her childish voice, Eiten and Eli instinctively moved away from each other, since a little child was apparently watching them.
“Eiten? You are awake?” Bella asked, she moved to Eiten and then hug him. “I am happy, you are awake!”
Eli then stretched out her hand to take Bella from Eiten because she was afraid that she would bother him.
“No, it’s gamma Eiten,” Eli corrected her daughter. “You have to address him as royal gamma Eiten.”
Bella was still hugging Eiten when she turned her head to look at her mother. “But he wanted to be called as Fiten and

little girl protested.
And Eli felt dreadful, she looked at Eiten, afraid that he would be angry, while pulling her daughter back to her, but Eiten was smiling instead.
“Yes, you should call me by my name,” Eiten said lightly, he hugged Bella, preventing Eli from taking the little one away from him. “Are you hurt?” He put his attention on Bella, who was sitting on his lap, as the three of them were on the floor.
“No.” Bella shook her head.
“Were you afraid?” Eiten caressed her head lightly, his eyes observed her little body, as if looking for any wound or injuries.
“A little bit, but I know that you will protect me.” Bella giggled, she hugged Eiten’s neck tightly, almost choked him.
Seeing this, Eli was afraid, she immediately wanted to take her daughter back. For a brief second, she remembered how she was beaten up so bad to protect Bella when her daughter accidentally bumped onto one of the warriors.
It was a trauma response that Eli had, her instinct as a mother told he

to take Bella from Eiten’s arms, because they would
However, Eiten shook his head to stop Eli’s intention, instead he hugged Bella back and kissed her cheek. “Of course, I will protect you.” Eiten then looked at Eli as well. “I am going to protect you and your mother if you allow me.”
The last statement meant for Eli.
Right there and then, Eiten had decided. For him, it didn’t matter whose Bella’s father was, or how she was conceived.
They were going to live in the future, not in the past. He would accept her as his own.
All of his doubt was vanished into thin air when he stood between Bella and danger that could take his life and there was no hesitation at all when Eiten did that.
He loved this little girl, as much as he loved his mate.
“Will you let me protect you?” Eiten asked.
“Yes!” Bella said excitedly, jumping up and down and then kissed Eiten’s cheeks.
The kisses melted Eiten’s heart even more. He didn’t think he was capable of loving someone this much, but at this moment, he loved these two girls in this room.
“Thank you.” Eiten then stretched out his hand towards Eli. “Come here,” he said in a low voice. His throat almost killed him because the agony whenever he spoke, but he didn’t show it.
