Chapter 211 Over a Trillion Dollars
Kaleb replied, “No way. It’s formatted.”
Emmett said, “Holy shit? You’re not messing with me, right?”
Kaleb’s tone turned dangerous. “You don’t trust Ayla?”
“No, no, no, how could I not trust Ayla? Ayla is way more reliable than you!”
Emmett was once again blown away by her genius.
Not just anyone could infiltrate a game company and launch a devastating attack.

Zane’s firewall was strong enough, but to Ayla, it posed no difficulty. Thinking about it carefully, it was terrifying.
Emmett asked, “Do you think Zane will dare to mess with us anymore?”
Kaleb didn’t mock Zane. Instead, he asked, “If my sister attacked us instead, how would you feel?”
“I’d be scared out of my mind. It’s like having a ticking time bomb. Because defenses don’t mean jack to Ayla. It’s a dimensional advantage. No way to fight back. How could you not be afraid? You’d have to keep your head down and behave.”
Kaleb said, “So Zane will play nice from now on.”
Emmett started getting snarky. “Look at you now–calling her ‘my sister‘ this, ‘my sister‘ that.
Kaleb snorted. “So what? Is she your
sister?”
Emmett said disdainfully, “Yeah, yeah, now you’re just riding on your sister’s coattails.”
Kaleb replied, “So what if I am? If you had a sister, you could ride her coattails too.”
Emmett shot back, “Screw off.”
But Kaleb did have actual business. “Help me look into Storm Group.”
Draven was pursuing his sister. Kaleb had to be on guard.
He’d start by understanding him better. He didn’t want to ask Draven directly, never mind whether he’d be honest about it.
Besides, Draven might narcissistically think Kaleb was seriously vetting him, which would only

Actually, last night Kaleb had tested Ayla. To Ayla, Draven was purely a boss–employee relationship. The reason she was still at Storm Group was because the work was relatively easy, and she could browse the company’s archives. She was basically using Storm Group as a tool for writing her dissertation.
…
The next workday, Emmett pushed open Kaleb’s office door. Kaleb was working. Emmett looked him over, unable to contain his curiosity. “You only care about games. Why are you suddenly interested in Storm Group?”
Kaleb glanced at him and kept staring at his computer. “My sister works there.”
Emmett looked skeptical. “Yeah, right. You didn’t investigate before, so why have me check
now?”
Kaleb said impatiently, “Just tell me.”
Emmett tossed a stack of documents on his desk. “Storm Group was founded five years ago. Market value over a trillion dollars. They hold leading positions in multiple high–value sectors. Tech and digitalization are their core advantages. So Storm Group has the technology and the capital. Besides, their global expansion is almost complete.”
Kaleb looked confused.
He was stunned.
Holy shit?
Is… Storm Group that impressive?
Kaleb’s neck turned stiffly as he looked at Emmett.
Emmett found his look baffling. “What’s wrong?”
Kaleb was shocked by this portfolio. He suppressed his astonishment and asked, “Did he inherit it?”
Like Troy. Although Winston Group had explosive growth under his leadership, the premise was that his family had laid a solid foundation for him.
Emmett said, “The head of Storm Group is very mysterious. There’s no information about him online, but I still managed to ask around through my cousin. His name is Draven Storm. He’s a big shot from Zheron elite circles. I also checked out the Storms‘ background. Going back several generations, the Storms were among those who fought for our country’s independence.

We’re talking serious power and influence. So it’s unlikely Draven built everything from scratch, but Storm Group’s development really doesn’t have much to do with the Storms in Zheron.”
Kaleb didn’t say anything.
All men admired strength, and Kaleb was no exception.
Draven had truly impressed him. No, he was shocked.
Was this something a human being could actually accomplish?
Emmett said, “That’s about it. What else do you want to know?”
Kaleb’s expression was stiff as he looked at him. “Storm Group’s CEO is named Draven Storm.”
Emmett asked, “You know him? How do you know? Have you met Mr. Storm?”
He was very curious about Draven.
But Storm Group was a massive commercial empire with global reach. For their small game company, it was just too far removed. If they could meet Draven in person, that would be an incredible honor.
But Emmett wouldn’t dream such unrealistic dreams.
Kaleb picked up Emmett’s documents and flipped through them. The information was right there, with many news reports that had shocked the industry. The more he read, the more confused he became. He gripped the documents tightly, unable to digest it all at once.
Seeing him stay silent, Emmett didn’t bother with him anymore.
Just as he walked out of the office, he suddenly received a call from an unknown number.
Kaleb generally only handled game development progress, monitoring it very closely and catching every detail.
Emmett handled more external business matters. Even if it was an unknown caller, he’d answer.
After connecting, a warm, deep voice with broadcaster–quality timbre came through. “Hello, I’m Herman Howell, vice president of Storm Group.”
Never mind what he said. Just hearing the tone and timbre gave off an extraordinary impression.
