Divorce and Freedom No More Homemaker for Him
Chapter 241 Dream On!
It wasn’t until Rolf was about to leave that he learned the tech company was called ZeitTech.
The CEO of this company had insulted Skyla.
Finished
Rolf saw Skyla as a top tech talent, but the ZeitTech CEO treated her like she was nothing. Back then, he had outright refused to cooperate with ZeitTech.
Rolf didn’t want to come.
But his father said that behind ZeitTech was Draven from Storm Group, so he had to go.
ZeitTech’s core strength was LugiX, a technology that had every other company trying to steal its talent.
Still, Rolf came.
The company’s owner was Halle, whom he had met briefly at a charity gala. Aside from being a bit miffed about the Skyla incident, there was nothing between them.
But Rolf never expected Halle and Ayla to know each other.
Now it all made sense.
Halle’s random trouble with Skyla was just because Ayla was jealous and meddling, using Halle to bully Skyla.
Rolf wasn’t just upset anymore–he was openly hostile.
Halle frowned. She was worth billions and could carry herself with confidence, but only around people she saw as beneath her.
In her world, moving up meant dealing with peers–or those above her.
Halle had the money and the confidence, but she knew her limits.
Rolf knew Troy, so Halle instinctively wanted to push him away.
But he was still Conrad’s son.
Halle was willing to give Rolf a few minutes.
“I am,” she said, stepping aside. “Let’s talk.”
Halle sat down next to Ayla,
Rolf sat across from them, and his assistant followed in.
“Do you know each other?” Rolf’s eyes flicked between them.
“Yes.” Ayla had kept it a secret before, afraid Troy would misunderstand that she was jealous of Skyla and had Halle cause trouble for her as revenge.

Now, with Draven backing her, who cared about Troy anymore?
Rolf was polite to Halle because of her status.
But who was Ayla? He had never taken her seriously. “You don’t have a place to speak here, do you?”
Finished
Ayla was stunned, still processing, when Halle smiled and said, “Please show some respect when you speak. Ayla is my friend. Even if she shouted at you through a megaphone, I don’t think it would be a problem, right?”
Rolf sneered, “Ms. Kinsman, my father sent me here to talk business with you. What’s with this attitude? Letting a low–level secretary interrupt–what right does she have?”
“I say she has the right, so she does. And you? What are you? Even Conrad treats me politely, and now you’re giving me attitude?” Halle’s patience snapped.
Rolf was the son of Trensea’s richest man, and Halle was far below him. He didn’t think she had the right to talk to him like that.
All this was because of Ayla.
Halle standing up for her was foolish.
Rolf gave a cold laugh and looked at Ayla. “You’re already divorced from Troy. Stop pretending.”
Then he turned to Halle. “You brought her here just to show off. What does she have to do with our cooperation? Asking her to leave is only reasonable, isn’t it?”
Hearing the word “leave,” Halle slammed the table and grabbed a glass, throwing it at him.
Rolf didn’t expect this and didn’t dodge in time. The glass hit him square in the forehead. He clutched his head, blood trickling down.
He stared at the blood on his hand, stunned.
His head spun a little, and he shook it off.
Looking up, his eyes were cold as ice. “Ms. Kinsman, aren’t you afraid of offending me by doing this?”
Halle was about to say something, but Ayla stood up and grabbed her arm.
Usually, Ayla didn’t like to step forward when dealing with people around Troy. She thought this time would be no different.
But unexpectedly, Ayla picked up another glass and threw it straight at Rolf, soaking his clothes.
Halle was stunned.
Ayla’s eyes burned with a fierce intensity, even sharper than Halle’s usual calm demeanor. Halle was known for her gentle and businesslike approach, but Ayla took everything seriously–when angry, her presence was even more commanding and intimidating.
Halle hadn’t seen Ayla like this in a long time!

Rolf, drenched and disheveled, suddenly stood up and glared fiercely at Ayla. “I’m only holding back because of Troy. Now that you’re divorced, you still dare to mess with me?”
“I’m not just messing with you–I want you to apologize to me and Ms. Kinsman!”
Rolf was shocked and furious.

He was surprised that Ayla, who usually cowered behind Troy, actually dared to stand up to him. She was just a scheming woman who had married into a wealthy family–where did she get the guts or the right?
He was furious at her pretentious air, which was inherently repulsive!
“Dream on!” Rolf shook off the water from his clothes. “Ms. Kinsman, there’s nothing left to discuss.”
With that, he turned and walked out, his face cold.
The moment the door shut, Halle clenched her jaw in anger. “That just makes me so mad! I seriously want to slap him. If Conrad really hands the business over to an idiot like that, the family fortune will be gone before he’s even buried.”
