Chapter 33 Hacked

Done.

Bria finally felt her mood clear up.

Finishe

Then, she went right back to bombarding Ayla, venting her anger with a bit of performative

craziness.

Ayla, so what if you blocked me? Did you watch the video? Consider it a gift from me. Hope you enjoy it.

But let me warn you, you’re not allowed to block me again. Otherwise, I’ll keep sending you giftslike this. Skyla’s back in the country so I will have plenty of material.

“Ayla, you’ve really annoyed me lately. I’ll give you one last chance. My birthday’s coming. Figure out something I’ll like and cheer me up, and I’ll let things slide. Otherwise, you know the consequences!

Ayla had slept the whole afternoon, and after dinner, she was working on her thesis.

She originally planned to confirm the direction with her advisor before continuing, but since her advisor was still tied up, she relied on her own judgment, and the new research direction looked solid. She had already moved on to the next step.

Her phone kept pinging nonstop.

Ayla finally picked it up.

Bria was still on her rant. I’m giving you one command right now: you’re not allowed to type Your humble servant was wrong, Princess. You must send it as voice messages. Ten of them, in a row. Make me happy first, then we’ll talk.

Bria loved these obedience tests, and they were classic manipulation tactics. And if Ayla actually did it, Bria would not stop; she would only push further. Ayla would just get bullied more and more.

Ayla scrolled up and saw the socalled gift.

The place in the video was the home she had lived in for three years. She knew it better than

anyone.

And the people in the video were also familiar.

Maybe because of what happened last nightafter witnessing Troy’s coldness againAyla felt something shift. Her threshold had risen.

Chapter 33 Hacked

She realized she barely felt anything toward Troy’s usual behavior anymore.

Finished

She was sure she was finally starting to move on. Her emotional recovery was faster than she had expected.

In the future, she would still feel something when facing Troy, but it would not be just pain and resentment anymore; there would be normal emotions mixed in too, like anger and even disgust.

The first meant she had once loved him.

The second meant she was finally seeing him as just another person. No filters, no halo.

So after watching the video, her heart stayed completely calm. She closed it almost immediately.

Then, she remembered she had blocked Bria.

She checked her phone and found that it was a hacker.

Whoever did it was not that experienced; they had left traces.

If Ayla were the one doing it, she would not have left anything behind.

Ayla thought for a moment, typed in a string of code, tapped it, and her screen went black. Lines of green characters started cascading down

Meanwhile, Bria was still delighting in tearing into Ayla when her phone suddenly froze. No matter how she tapped it, nothing responded.

Renee, what’s wrong with my phone?

The moment Bria handed it over, the screen turned blue. She had never even seen that happen before. What the heck is this?

Renee’s expression changed. She quickly grabbed the phone and tried rebooting, but it was too late.

Bria looked blank. What happened?

Renee triplechecked. Your phone’s bricked. Everything inside has been stolen.

She hesitated. You don’t have anything secret on it, right?

Bria felt the sky collapse. How could there not be? I’ve even taken nude photos of myself, not to mention all those chats

Chapter 3 Backed

Because of Bria’s status, celebrities and wealthy families usually tried to curry favor with her. She knew tons of authentic and nasty gossip.

She even stored firsthand dirt she had personally recorded. It was filthy stuff.

Just one leaked picture or clip would blow up the internet instantly.

Bria was genuinely panicking, but only for a few seconds. Then, her expression turned dark and furious. Call the police.

Renee shook her head. Given the level of damage and encryption, the hacker wiped their tracks. Even the cyber police would be too late.

Seeing Renee was not joking, Bria’s face went pitch black.

If she had not been comforting Bria, Renee would have said what was really on her mind. Whoever that hacker was, could she become their apprentice? This was godtier work. She had never seen anything like it.

Renee said, It wouldn’t be Ayla, right?

She had seen the contact name earlier, and the timing lined up perfectly.

Bria gave a cold laugh. How could it be her? She only knows how to cook. She’s just a maid! A cheap helper who would thank her employer for giving her 10,000 a month!

She said it out loud, but Renee already guessed Ayla definitely was not some maid.

Then, think, do you have any enemies? Who would dare do this to you otherwise?

Bria’s expression grew even uglier.

Renee asked, What now?

Bria said darkly, Too many enemies. Can’t pick just one.”
