Kaleb was partially impressed by Ayla’s eloquence, and partly completely out of patience. With a dark expression, he insisted, “Let’s go.”
Juliet wasn’t desperate to see Ayla’s boyfriend anyway. Young people always date for fun, and they get together just because they click. Juliet figured Ayla’s boyfriend was probably around the same age. She lost interest and turned back to accompany Lillian.
Once she was gone, Kaleb said, “If you two are together, fine. Just don’t rub it in my face.”
Ayla said, “Then you go by yourself. I’m heading back with Draven.”
Kaleb’s face looked awful. Gritting his teeth, he asked, “So when are you planning to break up?”
“We just started dating. Who said anything about breaking up?”
Kaleb looked at Ayla, jealousy written all over his face. “I knew it. The second you start dating, there’s no room in your heart for me anymore!”
Ayla was speechless. “Are you hearing yourself? What kind of logic is that?”
“Why do I need logic? I can’t argue with you, so I’ll just act shamelessly I’m your brother. You have to put up with me. I don’t care how you two date behind my back, but don’t let me know. Otherwise, I won’t be nice to Draven!”
After saying that, Kaleb leaned down and whispered in Ayla’s ear, “The day you two split, dinner’s on me.”
Meeting Ayla’s knife–like glare, he grinned and straightened up, shot a vicious look toward the person in the car, then turned and got into his own car.
Once Kaleb left, Ayla turned and got into the car.
Draven had probably seen her coming out already. When he opened the door, his gaze was fixed on her.
“I can’t go back with you. I need to stop by the office.”
She needed to find out who this Fabiola really was.
Draven told the driver to take her to the company. “I’ll pick you up after work.”
Ayla answered softly, “Okay.”
Seeing how tired she looked, Draven reached out with his long arm.
Ayla was pulled to his side. He said, “Lean on me. Get some sleep.”

She couldn’t help curling her lips into a small smile. She’d been tired before too, and she’d always carried it alone. That was fine.
But now, with a shoulder to lean on, there was an extra sense of security in her heart.

Centurion Entertainment.
The moment Ayla arrived at the office, Hannah was already waiting in her office.
Iris brought in coffee and then left.
“This is everything I could find on Stargaze Entertainment and Fabiola.”
Hannah said, “Poaching talent is common in this industry. We just don’t know if this time was a coincidence or intentional. If it was deliberate and we’re being targeted, future growth will be very difficult.
Artists were the clients of management companies. The more clients, the better the company’s performance. Losing high–quality clients meant massive losses.
Ayla looked through the materials.
Stargaze Entertainment was an old company. It had its glory days and its downturns. Four years ago, it lost a capital bet and was acquired by Fabiola. She became the hidden boss behind the scenes, injected new funds and a new team, and revived the company. They had signed many top–tier stars across the region. Stargaze was now at the peak of the entertainment industry.
There was very little information on Fabiola herself, but she was surprisingly young.
Fabiola was the same age as Ayla, only one month older.
“Fabiola keeps a low profile. She’s only appeared briefly once or twice at the company’s annual events. But being able to easily acquire an entertainment company means there’s extremely strong capital behind her. I guess she’s some kind of ultra–rich heiress. Her family gave her money, and she came out to gain experience for fun.”
Ayla suddenly thought of Bria. If Bria had wanted to do the same, Troy could’ve given her money and resources too. But Bria only liked to play around and didn’t want to do anything serious.
At least Fabiola’s family background was on par with Winston Group, and she was from Zheron. That was a hefty pedigree.
“Is there anything else?” Ayla asked. “Contact info, that sort of thing.”
Hannah froze. “You wanna call her directly? Not a good idea. I had a falling–out with Stargaze.”
Ayla smiled. “I’m not that stupid.”
“Then what are you going to do?”
“Do something illegal.”
Hannah was confused.
With the materials Hannah provided, Ayla quickly hacked in.
As Ayla scrolled through the information, her expression grew worse and worse.
Hannah was nearly scared out of her wits. They hadn’t worked together long, but Ayla’s maturity far
