Chapter 437 Go All In
Emotions churned violently in Ayla’s chest, hate tangled with resentment and rage.

She hated Phil for being so cold to Juliana. No wonder he’s been running back and forth between Zheron and Trensea all these years. Turns out he has another family on the side!
She resented Phil for ignoring her and Kaleb all these years, while spoiling his other daughter rotten.
She was furious at Phil for betraying Juliana, for betraying her and Kaleb.
Did Mom discover this truth, fall into depression and anxiety, and eventually walk into the sea because of it?
Ayla had always thought the most disgusting, inhumane thing Phil ever did was rushing to be with another woman right after Juliana died.
Ayla and Kaleb couldn’t accept that. On top of that, they’d always had that strange, half–familiar distance with their biological father, separated by cities, so they simply stopped contacting him.
They didn’t reach out to Phil, and the man ignored them completely.
But that wasn’t the truth. The reality was even worse.
Phil!
That old bastard!
Hannah was frightened. “Ayla, are you okay?!”
“I’m fine.” Ayla held her head and said quietly, “Leave me alone.”
Hannah was worried. “Did you find something?”
Ayla took a few seconds, then raised her head.
Her gaze was as cold as a sharpened blade.
Hannah’s heart clenched. She was 35 this year, 11 years older than Ayla, yet Ayla’s presence was something she rarely saw.
“Give me the coffee,” Ayla ordered.
Hannah did as told.
Ayla took a big gulp. The storm of emotions quickly settled.
If she rushed to confront Phil now, she probably wouldn’t get anything out of him.
The moment she spoke, Phil could even “send” her back to Trensea. After that, seeing him again wouldn’t be
easy.
Hannah had said Fabiola was extremely low–key. That likely had something to do with her background.

Ayla changed her mind.

Phil was in Trensea now. Ayla would personally go and demand answers from him.
Three years had passed. She wouldn’t lose her footing at the last moment.
“Fabiola did this on purpose,” Ayla said coldly.
Hannah asked, “Why? We didn’t offend her.”
She’d just found out that Fabiola was Melody’s best friend. Ayla had looked into Melody as well. On Melody’s social media, there were photos and posts of her hanging out with Fabiola in Trensea.
Melody wanted to mess with her.
Fabiola just lent a hand.
Ayla wasn’t sure whether Fabiola knew about her and Kaleb. So helping her best friend cause her some trouble made perfect sense.
“We didn’t offend her. It’s either a worse reason, or the worst.”
Hannah asked, “So there’s a grudge?”

Ayla looked at Hannah and sneered. “Whether she has a grudge against me is her business. But Stargaze Entertainment stole a client we were about to sign. Now I have a grudge.”
Hannah froze. “You’re gonna fight Stargaze?”
“Why not? Just because our company was founded recently, does that make us easy prey?”
Hannah certainly didn’t think they were easy prey. The management system Ayla personally built was already close to the internal controls of a listed company. Hannah had left Stargaze Entertainment precisely because of its chaotic management and vicious infighting. She’d been one of its sacrifices. She truly despised her former employer.
Ayla looked straight into her eyes. “Hannah, at your age and mine, this is the best time to fight. Centurion Entertainment may have been a spur–of–the–moment venture for me, and right now I’m still learning from you, but I take things seriously. Once I start, I want to do it well. And if we’re doing it well, we don’t know how good is good enough. So let’s set a goal.”
Hannah followed her train of thought. “Turn a profit within a year.”
Ayla said, “Why not surpass Stargaze Entertainment?”
Hannah blurted out, “That’s impossible…”
Ayla said, “I didn’t say we have to do it within a year. But eventually, that’s the height we’re aiming for.”
