Bria froze like her brain short–circuited.

She’d always known Ayla had ties to Sol. She’d spent forever trying to squeeze something out of her–just one clue, a lead, anything. Just minutes ago, she’d planned to use her injury to back Ayla into a corner. But this? Ayla was actually offering a face–to–face with Sol?
Pictures were one thing. If Ayla had just sent over a few more shots, Bria might’ve played it cool. But seeing Sol in the flesh? No one had ever done that. The chance to be the first was unreal. She couldn’t walk away from that.
Still, Kaleb had pissed her off. He didn’t even deserve to clean her boots, but he had the balls to throw attitude in her face. She’d already planned to toy with him for a while, just for her own fun. There was nothing more satisfying than breaking down a guy who thought he had pride.
If she said yes to Ayla, though, that meant no more messing with Kaleb.
She’d lose her chew toy.
And that was a real buzzkill. But meeting Sol? That beat everything else.
Bria had always been drawn to chaos. Since she was a kid, everyone around her had tried to put her in a cage. Her parents didn’t want her getting hurt, so they shut down anything fun. She’d been playing tame for years and only recently started breaking the rules a little. Then Sol came along, right when she needed it.
She was in her awkward, messy, rebellious stage when he showed up and lit her world on fire. He was everything she wanted to be. Cool. Fast. Free. She remembered the way his engine roared like a beast, and the second he blew past her, her heart almost burst. That sound had shaken her bones. That moment had shown her something she’d been chasing ever since. Nothing else ever came close.
She clenched her teeth. “How am I supposed to believe you’re not just making this up?”
Ayla answered without blinking. “I’m not gonna lie to you.”
Bría barked, “Not enough! I want Sol to take me for a spin. If that’s off the table, then so am I!”
Ayla didn’t flinch. “Fine.”
Bria was still reeling. The offer hadn’t fully landed yet.
Ayla tilted her head. “So we’re clear now?”
Bria rolled her eyes. “We’re not clear until I see Sol. I don’t trust anything you say.”
Ayla said, “Fine.”
She nodded toward Troy. “Go tell your brother it’s over. If you or Troy still want to cause trouble, go whine to your grandpa. You picked this fight with Kaleb. If you hadn’t gotten yourself hurt, I wouldn’t even be standing here right now.”
The cut on Bria’s arm was nearly two inches long. She needed stitches. That was no scratch.

Chapter 476 Stunned
Ayla hated seeing people bleed.
Bria had paid for her mistake.

But she started it, and Ayla wasn’t going to let her spin it like she was the victim. Not when the injury was an accident.
She didn’t have time for another pampered brat looking for drama. If she had to deal with Bria, she’d rather break her than coddle her.
Bria glared but held her tongue. “If you didn’t know Sol, I’d laugh in your face right now.”
Ayla said, “You still need to apologize to Kaleb.”
Bria’s eyes widened. “Are you kidding?! I’m the one who got hurt!”
Ayla didn’t even blink. “You got hurt, yeah. But you also set him up. You plotted that whole thing. If Kaleb had done that to you–if he’d kidnapped you and dragged you into a trap and you ended up hurting him- you think your family would just let it go? So yeah, you’re apologizing. He deserves one.”
Bria’s face went red with rage.
Ayla added, “You want to see Sol. That means this isn’t the last time we’ll be talking. So get used to my rules. You don’t get to run wild anymore. You don’t get to piss me off and walk away like nothing happened.”
