Draven tugged lightly at the corner of his mouth, his eyes gentle. “I’m the one benefiting here.”

Ayla snorted. “I’ve never seen anyone so eager to lose.”

“How is that a loss?” His entire life had changed because of her.

Ayla ran her hand over his chest, narrowing her eyes. “Mr. Storm, remember that client we almost signed who suddenly chose another company? And that artist who got buried in scandals right after? What a coincidence. So tell me–who helped me?”

Draven stayed silent.

Ayla poked him lightly. “And lately, someone’s phone keeps lighting up with entertainment news. Strange, huh?”

“Watching my girlfriend’s work and clearing out some trash is normal. That doesn’t count as being good to you.”

“I knew it was you!” Ayla held his face and kissed him. After a moment, she pulled back. “How does that not count? It’s an awesome surprise!”

Seeing how happy she was, Draven let it go. To him, that was just what a boyfriend should do. It barely

counted as kindness.
