She even blinked at her–sweet, but way overdone.

She only put on that act when she was in a good mood. A spoiled rich girl tossing out fake friendliness like it was entertainment.

How arrogant.

Iris felt a little speechless, wondering how Ayla even knew someone that spoiled.

She didn’t reply. Instead, she pointed toward the lounge and said coldly, “Wait there.”

Then she turned and left, not bothering to walk Bria over.

Bria was stunned.

“What the hell? Why are Ayla’s people just as annoying as she is?!”

Renee tried to calm her down. “This is Ayla’s place.”

Bria took a deep breath and forced it down.

The lounge had nothing decent to eat or drink, and she waited a full hour before Ayla finally showed up.

By then, the table was covered with takeout Bria had ordered for herself.

Fancy desserts, overpriced drinks–everything looked expensive.

Most of it she barely touched or didn’t touch at all. It was all for show.

In just one hour, Bria had made such a scene that nearly everyone knew who she was.

Bria only remembered being ignored for an hour. The moment she saw Ayla, she exploded. “Ayla, are you doing this on purpose? You make me wait this long-”

Ayla shot Bria a cold glance, clearly warning her to watch her mouth.

Bria snapped, “What kind of look is that? How dare you look at me like that?!”

Employees nearby sneaked looks, curious how Bria, who had cause so much drama in just one hour, was connected to their workaholic boss.

Ayla said evenly, “I should’ve made you wait until after work. You came without an appointment and still have an attitude. Don’t you know basic manners?”

Bria nearly lost it. Everyone usually spoiled her.
