Chapter 528 Taking Things One Step Further

Draven lifted his head. Water from the shower rained over his hair. Steam blurred his sharp, handsome features, but his eyes still looked sharp. Thankfully, his gaze stayed gentle and calín. He looked like a proper, disciplined rich heir. Sadly, the words coming out of his mouth were another story. “You want me to keep kissing you like that?” he asked softly. “Should we continue?”
Ayla was speechless.
“You want it?”
She glared at him for a long time. In the end, she still didn’t answer.
Instead, she pressed her hand over his lips.
Draven took the chance to kiss her palm.
The hotel Sacha recommended was beautiful. Even the air was filled with a sweet scent, sugary sweet.
Ayla didn’t like sweet things. But this sweetness felt addictive.
It sank deep into her heart.
She slowly removed her hand from his mouth. “Come closer.”
Ayla was sitting on a small shower bench. Draven knelt on one knee in front of her and leaned closer.
Her soft hands rested on his shoulders. She looked at the shape of his lips, then slowly kissed him.
They had never showered together before. Since they finally had the chance, she let herself explore the strong, muscular body that only she was allowed to touch.
Every time her fingers brushed over a muscle, her heart jolted. His muscles were firm, stacked over his bones like bricks. She couldn’t even imagine how much power they could release.
But they were beautiful. Strong. Controlled. Especially his lean, firm waist.
Ayla couldn’t stop touching him.
Suddenly, he caught her wrist. She looked up.
“Patrol’s over today,” Draven said, his voice rough. “Even though we only stayed outside, I shouldn’t touch you again. Otherwise, you’ll start crying.”
Ayla’s face turned bright red. She glared at him, teeth clenched.
In the end, Ms. Ayla–Who–Was–Very–Annoyed pulled him into a warm hug.
“I really will cry next time,” she threatened softly.
Draven sighed. “My girlfriend is too delicate.”

Ayla pinched his muscle hard.
She used some real strength. Draven said nothing. He only let out a soft laugh.
Ugh! He’s so annoying.
How could he enjoy this so much?
But, it’s your birthday. As long as you’re happy today.

Since they didn’t really go all the way, Ayla wasn’t too tired. Still, it was her first time feeling something like that. Her body felt extra sensitive. Even light touches felt stronger than usual.
After that, Draven helped wash away the sweat and other bodily fluids. She didn’t have to move a single finger. It felt incredibly comfortable.
Now, watching him move around, busy taking care of things, her face grew warm again.
The big CEO still carried that noble, untouchable aura. The kind of man others thought was impossible to reach. She felt shy.
But Draven didn’t seem to care at all. Honestly, he could be pretty shameless.
Ayla had known Draven for a long time. She truly believed that if he wanted to hide who he really was, no one would ever know.
Seriously, he was very cunning.
“Do you like it?” Draven asked when he noticed her staring.
“If I knew showers could feel this nice, I would’ve let you help me wash every day,” Ayla said. “I wouldn’t even need to move a finger. I could just be useless.” She had never experienced something like this before. Juliana had raised her strictly. From childhood, Ayla had to be independent and strong. No pampering. No softness.
Draven glanced at her. “I thought you meant the foreplay… hmm … ”
Before he could finish, Ayla covered his mouth again.
Draven kissed her palm again.
“Stop talking nonsense. I just meant the shower!”
He kissed her palm again.
It tickled. She quickly pulled her hand back.
“I know,” Draven said. “I can help you bathe anytime.”
Ayla checked the time. It wasn’t even ten o’clock yet. “Since we’re not taking this forward, I want to get some sleep. I stayed up way too late last night.”
Draven dried her off, helped her put on the hotel robe, and ordered breakfast.

She wanted to lie down right away. But he made her cat first before letting her rest.
She couldn’t really fall asleep. She just wanted to stay close to him. After sharing that kind of moment, she felt extra clingy. She naturally wanted to stay skin to skin with him. It felt very different from before.
It was Draven’s birthday. A short vacation. They both relaxed and wasted time together without guilt.
Besides, he was never the typical work–obsessed CEO. He often broke stereotypes. He liked enjoying life.
After breakfast, Ayla asked, “I want to sleep on top of you. Is that okay?”
“Of course,” Draven said.
He pulled her into his arms and rolled onto the bed. Once he lay flat, Ayla lazily draped herself over him. Her chin rubbed lightly against his chest.
