Chapter 578 Couldn’t Understand Troy Anymore
Finished:
Even if Bria grew closer to Draven in the future, Troy would always be number one in her heart.
Because of that, she cared a lot about Troy’s feelings. She was afraid he might get jealous. But she didn’t expect him not care at all, so Bria felt much less pressure.
Troy said with his sharp tongue, “When I get tired of you, go bother him. Don’t come bother me.”
Bria was speechless. “Troy, one day you’re going to poison yourself with that mouth.”
Troy did not argue with her. “Do you need anything else?”
“Do you like Ayla now?” Bria asked.
Troy stayed quiet for two seconds. He usually didn’t talk about this with Bria, but she had already seen Ayla with Draven. So he said it plainly, “I love her.”
“You… what? Troy, are you okay right now?”
Troy let out a cold laugh and looked at the report he had just received. “I’m fine.”
“That’s good…”
Bria was a little worried, but this was not something she could control. Deep down, she also wanted Ayla for herself.
Before, she even wanted Kaleb to follow her around like her pet, but she wasn’t that interested anymore.
Bria said, “When are you coming back? I want to celebrate your birthday with you. Your birthday is coming soon!”
Troy had just gone through a breakup. As his sister, she should at least give him some comfort.
‘I’ll come back after the New Year,” he said.
‘What? You’ll be gone that long, and you didn’t even tell me?”
November wasn’t even over yet. From now until after the New Year was still more than a month away.
‘I didn’t expect it to take this long either. But to be safe, I won’t come back early.”
Troy said a lot of things Bria didn’t really understand. It was probably about work. With the breakup on top of that, going away to clear his head made sense. So Bria didn’t think too much about it.
‘Okay then.”
December 3rd was a date Ayla was very sensitive to, because it was Troy’s birthday. She remembered it clearly.

That day, she was more careful than usual, afraid she might say something that would make Draven upset.
Draven understood everything. Seeing how careful Ayla was made him feel deeply moved. She cared about his feelings, and that was why she acted this way.
That night, he brought it up himself. “In the future, you can tell me anything about Troy. Before, I cared too much about him. Now it’s different.”
Ayla had healed Draven. In their relationship, he felt more and more secure. He no longer overthought things or felt anxious just because something involved Troy.
Ayla finally let out a breath. “I can’t help it. Your birthdays are only one month apart, and with everything that happened before… Mr. Storm, you have to understand me.”
Draven said, “Of course, I understand you. What I’m more afraid of is you hiding things about Troy from
me.”
Ayla said softly, “I promised you. I’ll tell you everything.”
Draven only needed one clear, honest answer like that, and Ayla always gave it to him.
He’d already started planning their future home. He’d been working on it for a while and had received several design plans. He pulled Ayla over to look at them together.
Ayla understood what he was thinking. She didn’t say it out loud and helped him choose.
Max spent Troy’s birthday with him in Moblosia.
Max said, “It hasn’t even been a full year, but things have changed so much. Troy, are you really going to stay here that long? Didn’t you already take care of everything?”
Troy sat on the couch, his eyes cold. He drank casually, as if nothing interested him at all. “I don’t want to go back.”
Max narrowed his eyes slightly.
To be honest, he couldn’t really understand Troy anymore–at least not the Troy in front of him right
now.
Troy noticed Max looking at him. “If you have something to say, just say it.”
Max said, “Troy, I’m really curious. Last month, you were in such bad shape. I thought you’d be down for a long time–maybe even lose it for a while. Don’t blame my words, but I’ve never seen you that emotional before. And now look at you. It hasn’t been that long, but you act as if nothing happened. If you’re really fine, why not go back home? Why hide here? I really don’t get you.”
At first, Max thought that once a jerk learned what love was, there would naturally be a price to pay.
