Chapter 637 You Have to Choose Me
Troy had never been able to accept that Draven had taken Ayla from him. When Ayla and Draven first got together. Toy didn’t even know how he had managed to get through those days. And now that they had broken up. Draven had the nerve to kiss her. Troy could hardly get a hug from Ayla nowarlays, but this motherfucker had the nerve to kiss her.
A dark fury gathered in Troy’s eyes. He stared at Draven as if he wanted to tear him apart. He had always hated him. Sometimes, be even wished Draven had never been born. Troy lifted his hand and pointed at Draven’s face, his voice icy with anger. “Touch my woman again, and you’ll regret it.
Draven lowered the hand that had been pressing against the sore spot of his mouth. His gaze turned cold and sharp. “Ayla doesn’t belong to you,” he said calmly. “You’re not worthy of her.”
His tone was flat and casual, almost like he was talking about the weather. There was no threat in it. It sounded more like he was simply stating a fact.
But that calmness only made it harder for Troy to accept.
What Troy hated most was that certainty in Draven’s voice. No matter what he said, he always sounded completely sure of himself, as if he could never be wrong.
How could Ayla not be his woman? They had been married for three years. They even had children together.
And who did Draven think he was, speaking to him like that?
Troy usually kept his emotions under control. But whenever Ayla or Draven was involved, something inside him snapped. Right now, he felt like he might actually tear Draven apart.
Just then, Ayla’s voice broke through the heavy tension. “Troy, why are you here?”
Her words seemed to cool his anger a little. Then, suddenly, Troy smiled, as if he had just found a better
weapon.
“Draven,” he said with a mocking grin, “Ayla is the mother of my children. That alone gives me more right to stand beside her than you.”
Draven’s expression darkened, and the corner of his mouth tightened.
Troy felt strangely satisfied when he saw that reaction. Why should he be the only one hurting because of Draven? They were really brothers; it was only fair for Draven to feel the pain too.
Ayla spoke again, her voice calm but firm. “Troy, the only reason anyone can stand beside me is because I choose them. What’s the point of saying things like that?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Troy said sharply, staring at Ayla with open anger. “I only said a few words about Draven, and you’re already rushing to defend him?” His tone grew harsher. “Fluffy’s sick. That’s why I came looking for you. And what do I find? You’re out here making out with Draven.”
Troy gave a cold, mocking laugh and pushed her further. “Ayla, make your choice,” he said. “You want him or the kids? Come with me now or stay here. But if you stay, you won’t see the children again.”
