“I’m at Draven’s place right now,” Ayla said. After eating, she had come outside alone to walk around. The place was incredibly large. She looked at the beautiful flowers, plants, and trees around her. “I got sick, so I might have to stay here for a few days.”

If something made her unhappy, she wouldn’t do it. If there was someone she didn’t want to see, she simply wouldn’t see them. It was that simple.

“That’s fair. Babe, work has been crazy lately. I probably pushed you too hard. Now that you’ve finished developing the product, the next steps are on me.
