Ayla sounded calm now. “I climbed pretty slowly, so I’m not that tired.”

Draven didn’t say anything. Only then did Ayla glance at him. The moment she did, their e met. He must have been staring at her the whole time.
His gaze made her uneasy, and she quickly looked away. “Did you come here specifically to me, or did we just run into each other?”
“I came to find you,” Draven said. Right now he was afraid of letting Ayla out of his sight.
“Didn’t we agree I’d have some time alone?”
“I haven’t seen you in a long time.”
“A long time?” That description sounded very strange.
Draven even gave the exact time. “Five hours and fifteen minutes.”
la was speechless.
nly feel at ease when I see you,” Draven said. Earlier, when he saw Ayla break down, it had urt him deeply. If she hadn’t said she wanted some time alone, he would have stayed by her side the entire time just to make sure she was okay.
looked out at the distant scenery. “This is your territory. I’m not going to get lost.”
“That’s true,” Draven said with a quiet laugh. Ayla looked much better now, and that reassured him. He stood beside her and looked at the view with her.
After a while, Ayla decided it was time to go back. Being alone here quietly with Draven put pressure on her.
“I’m going back.”
“Alright.”
Ayla had just taken one step when Draven grabbed her wrist. She looked at him in confusion.
Draven glanced at the long path below them. “I’ll carry you down.”
“That’s not necessary. Your leg is still injured.”
“It’s just a small injury. Don’t worry about me.” Draven stepped down a couple of stairs and looked back at her. “Come on. Let’s head back earlier.”

Chapter 725 The Winston Storm
Ayla didn’t climb onto his back. Instead, she tried to walk past him. But the moment the passe by him, her body suddenly felt weightless. Draven had picked her up in his arms.
“If you don’t want me to carry you on my back, then I’ll carry you like this.
In the end, Draven carried Ayla back.
Ayla ate dinner, took her medicine, relaxed for a while, and then went to sleep.
Although she had a fever in the morning, it had only been mild. It didn’t come back afterward and Ayla regained much of her energy. She no longer needed Draven to take care of her constantly.
While they were eating, they looked at each other a few times, but neither of them spoke.
Ayla was still young, and her physical health had always been good. After getting through the hardest first two days, her body recovered quickly.
By the evening of the fourth day, she was ready to leave.
“What’s Troy’s situation right now?” Ayla had blocked Troy completely from every platform, so whenever she needed information, she asked Draven.
“He’s still in Zheron. You don’t need to worry. He won’t be able to cause you any trouble,” Draven said.
Ayla thought for a moment. “Can I take the babies with me now?”
“Yes. But I’ll go back to Trensea with you. I need a few days to set things up. How about you stay with me a couple more days?” Draven said.
Ayla had already come to Zheron, and there was something she needed to handle here. “You go ahead and prepare. I still have something to do.”
Ayla drove away while Draven watched her leave his luxurious private estate.
While she was on the road, Ayla suddenly received a call from Bria. “Ayla, my family is in total chaos right now! I arrived in Zheron today. I went to see Troy, and after that I got bored being alone. Are you still in Zheron? I want to come find you!”
“What happened to your family?” Ayla asked.
“Draven told my dad about some of the things Troy did in the past, including stuff from when we were kids. My dad completely lost his temper and went to complain to Grandpa. Grandpa got seriously angry this time and decided to teach Troy a lesson. Then Draven recommended Lance to temporarily take over one of the Winston family’s projects. That project is the one

If Bria could talk, she would’ve been spitting threats and curses at this bitch. She would even have treated her like a dead person. In Bria’s eyes, Melody was as good as finished.
Smack!
While the car was still speeding closer, Melody slapped Bria hard across the face. Seeing the blood covering her, Melody gave a cold snort, looking smug. “You hit me back then, and now I’m giving it back. What, unhappy? Even if your friend came, I’d hit her as well. This is my place. I’m not scared of you. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for falling into m trap!”
Bria had always been the one bullying others. She never imagined she’d end up being bullied like that. It was humiliating. But even now, she refused to cry or beg the way Melody once did That wasn’t her style. The harder Melody attacked, the more disgust showed in Bria’s eyes.
That only made Melody angrier. Back then, Bria had mocked and humiliated her for no reaso Now that Bria was in her hands, she still acted that arrogantly.
Melody had only planned to vent her anger and stop. But the rage inside her kept growing. Sh grabbed the baseball bat again and raised it toward Bria’s head.
“Don’t do anything stupid!”
“Stop!”
Fabiola and Ayla shouted at the same time.
Ayla slammed the car door shut and stood in front of it. About 15 feet away, she stared coldly a the bat in Melody’s hand, fury burning in her eyes. “Melody, I’m warning you. Bria isn’t someone you can mess with.”
In Zheron, Melody naturally acted even more arrogantly. Even after hearing the car coming and guessing it might be Bria’s people, she hadn’t cared at all.
But she never expected the person to be Ayla.
How could it be Ayla?
Fabiola glanced at Ayla a few times, but she stayed silent.
Ayla didn’t even look at her.
Fabiola thought her half–sister was pretty interesting. The more she learned about her, the more curious she became.
