Bria said, “Every time I come out for some air, I run into her. That means we’re meant to cross paths. If I don’t take the chance to teach her a lesson, I’ll never forgive myself!”

“It’s not that. Even if you want to mess with her, you have to be able to catch up with her first!”

“Renee, stop underestimating me! With that junk car of hers, she can’t get away from me!”

The roar of the engine grew even louder.

Renee got genuinely scared. “Bria, maybe you’re not afraid of dying, but I am. If you want to chase her, do it by yourself. Let me out of the car, now.”

“If I let you out now, Ayla will already be long gone-”

Right then, the Land Rover in front suddenly made a perfect one-eighty. In a split second, the tail of the car became the front. Both Bria and Renee were stunned.

Bria wasn’t ready for it at all. Her foot stayed on the gas, and in under a second, she was about to slam right into the Land Rover.

Bria and Renee were flooded with terror. Instinct took over, and sharp cries spilled out of their throats.

Bria stomped on the brakes like crazy, but it was far too late. If they crashed, they’d either die or end up severely injured.

Just when they braced themselves for the pain, a miracle happened. After the Land Rover made the turn, it sped away in reverse without stopping.

The two cars never actually collided.

Bria’s brakes worked, but having slammed on the brakes with the speed she was going had sent her body flying back hard from inertia. It hurt.

Bria and Renee looked pale, their hearts pounding like mad. In just a few seconds, sweat had beaded on their foreheads.

When Renee finally got herself together, she immediately fumbled for the door, got out, leaned against the car, and threw up.

Bria wasn’t any better. She wanted to throw up, too. But before she could, Ayla walked up and knocked on

her window.

Seeing Ayla felt like seeing a ghost to her now.

Ayla’s face didn’t change a bit. She still looked as calm as ever. For some reason, though, Bria felt Ayla’s presence was suddenly overwhelming. She got really scared and instinctively refused to get out of the car.

When Bria didn’t move, Ayla opened the door herself, unbuckled her seatbelt, and yanked her out.

Bria tried to stand up straight, only to realize her legs had gone weak.

As soon as Ayla let go, Bria collapsed to the ground.

Ayla’s voice was cold. “Bria, are you trying to get yourself killed? You idiot!”

Only now did Bria snap out of her deep fear. Ayla’s sharp remarks sent her right over the edge. “Ayla, that’s it. I’m done with you!”

She scrambled up and lunged at Ayla.

Ayla was speechless.

She dodged quickly. Unable to stop herself, she fell again.

Bria burst into tears on the spot. But even with tears streaming, her face was full of rage. She wanted nothing more than to rip Ayla apart. As soon as she got back up, she wanted to go after Ayla again.

Ayla shot her a cold glare. “You can’t beat me.”

Bria had no sense left. She just went for it.

Two seconds later, Ayla had her face pressed against the car.

Bria struggled like crazy, but Ayla’s hand on her head didn’t budge. Let Ayla get run over by a car right after this. That would be perfect.

“Why did you chase me?” Ayla asked.

Bria’s voice was choked, but she snapped, “Why else? I wanted to kill you!”

“Do you really hate me that much?”

“That’s right. I can’t stand you, Ayla. How dare you hit me!” Bria had never suffered a setback in her life. Even though she was looking like a mess now, her stare was as stubborn and overbearing as ever. “We’re sworn enemies now. Every time I see you from now on, I’ll make your life hell!”

“You keep losing every time you mess with me, and you still come back?”

“You just got lucky! Ayla, you can’t be lucky forever!” Bria threatened, “We’ve known each other for three years. You know what I’m like. If I say I’ll never let you off, you know I mean it. I’ll mess with you forever!”

“You and your brother are just the same.”

Bria wasn’t ashamed. “Glad you noticed!”

Ayla let go of Bria. Bria glared at her but didn’t go after her this time.

Ayla glanced at her coldly, then pulled out her phone and tapped a few times.

Bria took the chance to try something sneaky, but Rence-still pale from puking-blocked her path.
