Chapter 151 Sun and Moon

Ayla pulled out another photo.

“If you’re really a fan of Sol, then you probably haven’t seen these.”

Bria froze. She had every piece of Sol’s merch. She had seen every leaked picture online. But the ones in Ayla’s hand? She had never seen them before.

Bria bit down hard. “Y-you really know Sol? Take me to meet her!”

“Only if you listen to me.”

“In your dreams!” Bria would never submit to Ayla.

Ayla hid her identity because she didn’t want Bria clinging to her.”

Once she got her divorce papers, she would have nothing to do with the Winstons. When it was time to keep her promise, she could just set up a video call without showing her face.

Besides, Bria’s moods were unpredictable. One scolding would never scare her. And Ayla couldn’t keep asking Draven to step in every time. She needed something Bria cared about, something that would force her to behave.

“Believe what you want,” Ayla said, her voice mocking. “I thought you adored Sol. I guess not. I’ll be sure to

let her know.”

Ayla finished and got in her car.

Bria ran after her, yelling, “Ayla! How dare you question my love for Sol! I’m warning you—if you bad- mouth me in front of my idol, I’ll never spare you!”

Ayla slowed as she passed Bria, then stopped. Her tone was calm and cold. “I guess you’d better listen to me then.”

She glanced at their pale faces and reminded them, “And call a driver to take you home. Don’t get yourself killed on the way to see Sol.”

Bria had no words.

Ayla didn’t stay another second. She drove off.

Bria’s face twisted with anger.

She had to stay alive long enough to meet Sol, but Ayla had the nerve to jinx her!

“Did you see that? Ayla’s driving was insane!” Rence was still pale as she remembered the scene. “That turn and reverse, no normal person can do that. Mess up even a little and it’s a crash! That was way too risky! If she dared to do it, she must be really confident in her skills.”

Bria felt the pang of fear too.

But then a memory flashed through her mind. She froze. “Ayla’s driving skill looked a lot like Sol’s.”

Renee had always liked Ayla. She couldn’t help herself. “You don’t think Ayla is Sol, right?”

“No way!” Bria snapped. “Ayla said she knows Sol. And since she knows Sol is my idol, she could’ve just bragged about it. She wouldn’t hide it.”

Bria glared at her. “I just think they look a little alike when they drive. Maybe Ayla was copying her.”

“Maybe. But Ayla’s driving is crazy good. Why didn’t you tell me before?”

Renee had watched Skyla race before, but she still preferred Ayla.

If Ayla ever stepped onto a track, she might even beat Skyla.

Bria scoffed. “Why would I pay attention to her?”

Bria had been bullied by someone she always looked down on. Now she hated Ayla more than ever. “She even showed off photos I don’t have. Dammit! I can’t believe this!”

Now Bria felt both hatred and jealousy burning in her chest.

Ayla didn’t deserve to know Sol at all.

Sol was the sun in her heart. Ayla, in Bria’s eyes, was just a faint reflection of the moon in a dirty puddle. One in the sky, one on the ground. If anyone dared to link the two together, Bria would only feel disgusted.

“Forget it. Let’s go,” Renee said, pulling on Bria’s hand.

Bria snapped fiercely, “What are you doing? Move.”

“Just listen to Ayla. We should call a rideshare. I’m not okay with you driving right now. And even if you drive, I’m not getting in that car with you.”

Bria was stubborn and hated losing her pride. She slapped Renee’s hand away, spun around, and got into her car. She backed out, glaring at Renee through the window with clear annoyance. “If you’re scared, then call your ride home.”

Renee froze. “Seriously? You’re leaving me here?”

Bria hit the gas to prove her point.

But before she even made it to the street, a huge delivery truck blared its horn as it passed.

Two seconds later, Bria pulled right back into the parking lot.

Renee raised a brow, mocking.

Bria shot her a vicious look. “What are you staring at? Call the rideshare.”
