Ashton and Amelia barely had any contact in their dally lives, but Roxy was now hearing, that it was all because Ashton had deliberately kept his distance from Amelia.

“You’re wrong about that, Ms. Sloan,” Amelia denied it with a shake of her head. “I decided this on my own. It has nothing to do with Mr. Gray.

“But of course, if he needs me, I will certainly join him. I won’t ever abandon him!”

Amelia had specifically emphasized her last sentence.

“You can leave now!”

Despite her reluctance, Roxy knew she couldn’t keep Amelia on any longer. Amelia joined Summit Lounge because of Ashton, not because of her or Summit Group.

Calvin couldn’t resist chiming in, “Hurry up and get out! I’ll call up my friend at once and have him book us an even better band!”

Amelia nodded at Roxy. After a brief hesitation, she said, “Mr. Gray is the best man in the world, Ms. Sloan. You messed up.”

Having said that, she walked off with her guitar and the rest of Starlight. She couldn’t wait to see Ashton. Perhaps this time, she would finally have the chance to be with him!

“Ms. Sloan, without Starlight, what will happen to Summit Lounge…” Anna said feebly.

“I’m sorry, Ms. Sloan. We only joined Summit Lounge because of Mr. Gray. Now that he’s gone, we should be leaving, too,” Sunny firmly declared.

“I’ll double your salary! I’ll give you ten percent of the profits! Just stay with us at Summit Lounge!”

Roxy made a sky–high offer to Sunny. She had to keep Sunny around no matter what, or else the consequences would be unthinkable!
