Chapter 135
From the moment Amelia set foot in Evermore Club, she’d already mapped out the night. She had to seize this chance and beat Sylvia to their shared goal.
The air was thick with heat and desire. Somehow, led by Amelia’s mood, Ashton’s desire kept surging. His whole body felt like it was burning, and he couldn’t control himself.
“Mr. Gray, I don’t need you to take responsibility, nor do I need you to promise me anything. I just want to enjoy the eternity of this moment!”
Amelia grew bolder and more forward.
The fire burning in Ashton’s heart shot straight to his mind.
As the night gradually settled, Calvin finally saw the person he’d invited arrive.
A middle–aged man in uniform appeared outside Summit Lounge with a squad of enforcers.
“Isn’t that Conrad Nell, the chief of the Javonbury Southern Precinct? Why’s he here? And he has so many officers with him!”
Someone gasped, sensing that something big might go down that night.
“Mr. Nell, I’ve been waiting for you!”
Calvin hurried forward when he saw Conrad. He lowered his voice and said, “You have to help me tonight, alright? I’ll deliver on what I promised once this is done. The beauties and the gold have already been sent to the private club.”
“No problem! Your father and I are sworn brothers. Of course, I’ll help with this little favor!” Conrad patted his bulging belly and asked light–heartedly, “So, this is the Evermore Club you mentioned?”
“That’s the one. My people are all in place; we can lock down ironclad evidence. All we need to do is go in and grab who we’re here for. I’m making Ashton go down tonight!” Calvin snarled.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s move.”
“Let’s go!”
Calvin’s adrenaline spiked, and his eyes glinted with the desire for revenge. Ever since he’d returned to Casoria, Ashton had humiliated him again and again. He’d long wanted to teach the latter a lesson and put him in his place!
Calvin led Conrad and the others straight into the Evermore Club.
“You-”

Someone tried to stop them, but Calvin sent them flying with a hard kick. He snapped, “Open your eyes take a good look at who this is–Chief Conrad Nell from the Javonbury Southern Precinct! How dare you try to stop him? You’re in big trouble now!”

He strutted inside with swagger, savoring every second of this.
Kurt and the other Evermore Club employees Manched when they sew the uniforms Coud and his www. Shit, wiry is Conrad Sell here? The bloodsucking leech never shows up onless he smells blood
“Southern Precinct officers are here on business, so irrelevant personnel are to clear out immediesf bayes who dares obstruct them will be detained for three days!” Calvin shouted,
That made the lively venue fall silent. The guests in the booths paled at the sight of the police officers.
“Come on, let’s go.”
No one wanted a night out to turn into trouble. Of course, some people merely stepped aside, curious to see what Evermore Club had done to draw the Southern Precinct officers there.
In an instant, the club descended into chaos. There was noise everywhere.
Sylvia’s expression darkened for a moment when she saw Conrad. Then, she composed herself and forced a smile as she hurried forward. “Chief Nell, what brings you here tonight? Come on, have a seat. Someone get us the best bottles–everything tonight is complimentary for our friends from the Javonbury Southern Precinct!”
Nightclub owners feared these law enforcers more than anyone else. They were bloodsuckers who wouldn’t stop until one was dry–their greed knew no bounds.
However, the Southern Precinct officers had always played it subtly in the past. If they were causing such a huge scene that night, things had to be serious.
“Ms. Langley, are you trying to bribe the precinct officers? You’ve got some nerve!” Calvin snorted and barked at Sylvia,
At first, he thought she was into him. But after he’d sent her several sexy photos of himself and she never responded, he realized she’d been playing him all along. He’d been like a clown before her and Ashton, so because of that, he started hating her, too.
Well, if his usual methods couldn’t win Sylvia over, he would move on to threats and temptation. Sylvia would ultimately be his!
