Ashton nodded. He returned to his room and entered a state of focused cultivation.

He was shocked to find his bloodline power had become incredibly strong. If he unleashed it completely and pushed himself to the extreme, he could channel power beyond the limit of his current realm.

“Summit Lounge is packed today, and every seat is full. It feels off.”

“Ignore it. It’s just a clown’s self–made show.”

Ashton said coolly, “Calvin is planning to propose to Roxy tonight. Since it’s a proposal, he has to make it grand. The ‘customers‘ at Summit Lounge are probably just people he hired to hype things up.”

“A proposal?” Sylvia looked astonished. “He’s rushing it, isn’t he?”

“The mess he made at Summit Lounge won’t stay hidden for long, so he has to move fast. Once that blows up, his chances of a successful proposal will plummet.”

“He’s pretty calculating, huh?” Sylvia was intrigued. “Ashton, do you think he’ll succeed?”

“No idea.”

“Want to go take a look?” Sylvia’s gossip radar was on.

“Nope.”

Ashton no longer cared about Roxy. Whether she accepted Calvin’s proposal or not didn’t matter to him.

Just then, his phone rang. It was a call from Renee. He answered.

“Ashton, I’ve brought Celia to Summit Lounge!” she chirped.

He lifted a brow. “Why would you do that?”

“Huh? You said you missed her and wanted to see her, but that it’d be inconvenient for you to come to the villa. That’s why you asked me to bring her so you could pick her up.”

“Who told you that?”

“Robert said Roxy said it.”

“Got it. I’m on my way to get Celia.”

Ashton’s eyes glinted coldly. He knew Calvin had set this up on purpose to force him to witness the proposal.
