Ashton, observing Sylvia expertly navigating the guests, discreetly withdrew from the crowd. He had no interest in networking with the guests. He was, in his own right, at the top, the one everyone else wished they could rely

“It’s about time she arrived,” Ashton said as he glanced at the time.

He had attended Auric Night for two reasons–to accompany Sylvia and also to meet with Natalie, the CEO of Yorkshore Group, to administer an acupuncture treatment that would further eradicate the parasitic poison within her.

It was then, while Ashton was deep in thought, that a chorus of gasps erupted nearby. He turned toward the crowd’s gaze and saw Natalie making her entrance. She was a commanding figure in a vibrant red gown and towering three–inch heels.

Natalie immediately became the focus of the crowd once she stepped into the main hall. She was simply too captivating. Her drop–dead gorgeous face and remarkably prominent figure made almost every other woman in the room seem instantly unremarkable.

Natalie was accompanied by Hank, whose demeanor was supremely conceited, as if no one in the room were his equal.

“How stunning!”

“Natalie is truly the pinnacle of sophisticated beauty! Who, I wonder, will be able to successfully sweep up a beauty like Natalie?”

“Natalie’s entire presence–her status and her bearing–is devastatingly attractive to men! It’s a shame that I’m too intimidated even to sneak a second glance. I mean, her presence is just too overwhelming!”

In that instant, a chorus of murmurs and chatter arose.

They quickly realized that Natalie had a singular target, and they were curious about which social circle she would grace with her presence. Natalie had located Ashton the second she stepped through the door and, with a graceful, deliberate swing of her hips, walked directly toward him.

It wasn’t long before Natalie reached Ashton’s side. Her refreshing, intoxicating perfume drifted off her, enveloping him in an even deeper, more profound allure.

“You’ve finally made it,” Ashton greeted Natalie with a smile.

He had to concede that her allure was utterly fatal, one that sparked a fierce, involuntary desire for dominance

within him.

He was actually more astonished that, with Natalie so close, his Drakell technique had activated spontaneously. He realized that her constitution was perfectly suited to his cultivation method.

He knew that possessing her would mean plundering and absorbing vast amounts of pure spiritual energy, guaranteeing a major leap in his power and realm.

He actually thought that Natalie was simply a divine stroke of luck–a fortuitous opportunity. He had no reason to let her go now that the opportunity was right before him.

He had already made up his mind, following the divorce, that he would live spectacularly, achieving absolute authority and indulging in every sensual delight.

Natalie cast a condescending look at Ashton before commanding, “Come to the room with me!”

Ashton looked at Natalie, who was acting all high–and–mighty, a sardonic smile playing on his lips.

He then raised his hand and raised Natalie’s chin, right in full view of the guests in the main hall, and whispered,”

“Have you misplaced your understanding of our dynamic right now, Natalie? Have you forgotten that you’re supposed to obey my orders?

“How dare you speak to me like that! Do you want me to discipline you, Natalie?”
