“Huh?” Ashton didn’t quite understand what Martha was up to.

But he soon got the picture and realized what a seductress she was.

An hour later, Ashton and Martha had both gotten dressed and drawn open the curtains.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Martha smiled. “See, babe? I knew it. Sylvia must be here already. I bet she missed you terribly. You’re going to have to put your back into it tonight!”

Ashton was speechless.

When Martha opened the door, it was indeed Sylvia, who was dressed in a business suit with a form–fitting pencil skirt, standing on the doorstep.

Sparks flew as the two women looked at each other, making Ashton shudder.

It seemed he would need to continue honing his skills as a man of many women. He would have to do his best to avoid letting such awkward situations happen. Otherwise, it’d lead to a ton of trouble.

“What are you doing here so early, Sylvia? Do you want to come in for breakfast? Ashton and I just got out of bed. We slept so well last night, didn’t we, Ashton?”

Martha held Ashton by the arm, a beaming smile on her face.

Ashton could only chuckle weakly in response.

“Ashton will be sleeping even more comfortably tonight!” Sylvia declared.

She pulled Ashton over to her before saying to Martha, “You should run along now, Martha. You’ve got a tight schedule. You can leave Ashton to me. We still need to settle some matters for the Complexion Elixir, so we’re leaving.”

Now that the time was up, Sylvia wasn’t going to let Ashton stick around in Martha’s villa. What would happen to her if he ended up getting attached to Martha?

She became even more determined to get Melody to win Ashton’s affection as well. The two sisters had to work together to capture his heart entirely.

Sylvia wanted to be the most important woman in Ashton’s life, and no one was allowed to steal that spot from her.

Martha didn’t try to stop Sylvia. Smiling, she said, “Ashton, feel free to find me whenever you miss me. Samantha and I will come and see you together!”

“Samantha? Is she talking about Samantha Andler? Did something happen, Ashton?”

Alarms were ringing in Sylvia’s head.

“It’s nothing,” Ashton said as he started to sweat.

Sylvia didn’t ask further. She’d known all along that Ashton would always have a plethora of women around him. Her goal was to be the most special one with whom Ashton could feel most at ease.

Soon, the two finished addressing issues with the Complexion Elixir and planned how they would continue to promote the product.

Based on the way things were going now, it seemed as though the Complexion Elixir had no competition in the market. This meant the entire world was their oyster.

“Ashton, there will soon be an endless stream of profit coming in. When the time comes, just let me know if you need any sort of medicinal ingredients. I’ll find the sources for you,” Sylvia said thoughtfully.

Ashton nodded. He did have to buy some ingredients to make a batch of special pills.

Night began to fall.

Once they were done with work, Sylvia eagerly dragged Ashton back to her place at Lakeview Heights. Her eyes were burning with tender affection, which Ashton could feel as well. It triggered the Drakell technique, leading to the flames in his eyes.

There was no denying the fact that Sylvia was captivating.

But when they arrived at the Langley residence, they found Roxy standing outside the villa with an anxious yet conflicted expression. She seemed to be waiting for them.

Sylvia pressed herself against Ashton and flashed a blissful smile at Roxy, asking, “Did you need something, Roxy?”

After taking in Sylvia’s happy expression and Ashton’s cold indifference toward her, Roxy felt a sting in her chest. Her anger toward Ashton increased several notches.

However, she quickly tamped down her anger and even softened her tone as she said to him, “Ashton, Mom’s stomach condition has completely flared up. She can’t hold on for much longer. On account of our past relationship, please save her. Just take this as me begging you.”
