Chapter 513
It was two hours later when a sudden commotion broke out within Blossom Hall. It turned out that Robert had gotten into a conflict with another man over a woman, and he was now causing a huge uproar in the middle of the Blossom Hall.
Robert smashed a wine bottle over the man’s head and snarled, “You think you’ve got what it takes to fight me for a woman, huh?
“You ought to know that my sister is Roxy Sloan, the CEO of Summit Group! Haven’t you heard that Damian Payne, the most distinguished scion in Javonbury, is currently pursuing Roxy? You’re nothing compared to me, so get the hell out of here!”
Robert, reeking of alcohol and wearing a look of sheer insolence, was riding high on his own vanity. He had become so reckless that he had totally lost sight of whose territory he was standing in.
“Get him!” Elise’s chilling voice suddenly rang out as she emerged from the crowd and fixed Robert with a cold glare. “I won’t allow anyone to make a scene in Blossom Hall!”
In an instant, two experts from Blossom Hall seized Robert effortlessly and pressed him to his knees on the floor.
“Slap him across the face!” Elise commanded coldly.
“Got it, Ms. Haywood!”
In that instant, two sharp cracks rang out as two resounding slaps landed on Robert’s face–the stinging pain served as a brutal wake–up call, instantly snapping him out of his drunken stupor.
Robert’s drunken haze dissipated in an instant, leaving a cold sweat trickling down his back. He was utterly captivated as he looked up and saw Elise’s breathtaking face. He was struck by her incredible beauty, convinced that she was nothing less than a flawless work of art crafted by the heavens.
It was then that the man, whom the wine bottle had struck, said with a sneer, “That man broke the rules by laying a hand on me, Ms. Haywood! He deserves to have his hands crippled and be thrown out of the Blossom Hall like the trash he is, according to the rules set by the Blossom Hall!”
“It’s all a misunderstanding, Ms. Haywood! I was drunk, and I didn’t mean any of it! I swear I won’t do it again, Ms. Haywood, so please let go of me! I’ll pay whatever it takes to make this right!” Robert yelped, wincing from the pressure of the experts holding him down.
“You’ve broken the very rules of the Blossom Hall, Mr. Sloan. You ought to know that if a ‘misunderstanding‘ could excuse breaking the sanctity of the Blossom Hall, then my rules would mean nothing!” Elise stated coldly, her eyes gleaming with lethal resolve.
She then commanded the experts, “Have his hands and legs crippled before tossing him out of the Blossom Hall to set an example to others!”
She had orchestrated the whole event tonight–a carefully constructed trap for Robert–to settle the score for Ashton. She had been fuming ever since she found out how the Sloans had belittled and demeaned Ashton after the divorce.
She had been itching to get even on his behalf, so the moment she heard that Robert was coming to the Blossom

In the meantime, Ashton, having just concluded his passionate encounter with Whitney, walked out of the room with one arm wrapped around Whitney’s supple waist, his gave fixed on the unfolding vored toge
“Is this something you guys concocted?” Ashton asked, seeing through the situation at a face. Felsen tazz Elise usually wouldn’t show up for a petty brawl, so it was obvious that this performace was staged for his benefit.
Whitney, leaning into Ashton, replied in a soft, soothing voice, “You see, once Elise and I learned how the Sloans treated you, we couldn’t contain our rage any longer which was why we set out to teach them a lesson they wouldn’t forget, darling,”
