“Run! Split up and go in different directions! We must get the news out that Ashton has already reached the semi–divine realm!” Raven shouted.

In an instant, the 20 Shadow Blade assassins decisively retreated and bolted in all directions! Even if Ashton had reached the semi–divine realm, there was no way he could kill all of them.

But very quickly, their eyes filled with sheer terror. To their horror, they discovered that the surrounding area had already been sealed off. An invisible barrier had formed long ago. Unless they killed Ashton, there was no escape for them.

In the beginning, they’d assumed this was going to be an absurdly simple mission. After all, they only needed to delay Ashton for 30 minutes. It should’ve been a piece of cake for them.

But now, they’d just witnessed the gruesome deaths of the 17 other assassins. They felt the terrifying pressure that came from Ashton’s aura as a semi–divine realm expert. The three of them were prepared for the worst.

“We’ll attack together and use our most lethal techniques. Maybe there’s a chance we might live,” Raven said fiercely.

“Get him!”

Void and Crag showed no hesitation as they lunged at Ashton.

Raven’s eyes turned crimson as he pushed his spiritual willpower to the limit, locking onto Ashton with his gaze. He tried to use his ocular technique to weaken Ashton and slow him down, hoping to create an opening for Void and Crag.

Void used his speed to his advantage, roaring as he attempted to drive a blade right into Ashton’s heart.

Crag formed a series of hand seals, and the veins along his body immediately seemed to burst open as he threw a powerful punch right at Ashton’s head.
