After a pause, Trent said to Melody, “We’ll be going for round two later, Melody, but I think the guy you brought doesn’t seem to fit in with us very well. Why don’t you send him back first? Otherwise, it’ll seem like we’re all ganging up to cast him out on purpose.”

“Hah! He sure is shameless. I can’t believe he’s still sitting here. If I were in his shoes, I would’ve left by now!” Connie sneered.

Sally chimed in, “Maybe he can’t bear to leave after seeing beauty like me.”

Laughter erupted across the room.

Melody raised an eyebrow and glanced at Ashton, who remained completely indifferent. Her tone was harsh as she said, “I shouldn’t have brought you here today. Go back. You’re not needed here anymore!”

“Why do you think I haven’t left yet? It’s only because I promised Sylvia I’d keep an eye on you,” Ashton said, shaking his head. “You’ve had enough fun. It’s time for us to go.”

“I haven’t had enough fun yet!” Melody retorted with a scoff. “You can head on back yourself first. These are all my friends. I’m perfectly safe with them. I don’t need you to keep an eye on me!”

Ashton cast a glance at Trent, whose eyes were now filled with lecherous intent, before grabbing Melody in an attempt to take her away. “Since I made a promise to Sylvia, at the very least, I won’t let anything happen to you today.”

“Ashton! Let go of me!”

Melody flung him off her before fuming, “Don’t you dare bring up Sylvia, Ashton! What? Are you acting like you’re my brother–in–law already? Even if something does happen to me today, it’s none of your business!

“You should worry about yourself first! You don’t belong with people like us. You can go now!”

“You’d better not regret shooing me away.”

“I’d never!”

“I hope you remember what you said,” Ashton warned before getting up to leave. He couldn’t be bothered to say anything else to her.

“Hang on. Louie, my sugar daddy, is looking for me. I need to head off, too. I’ll join Ashton. After all, he won’t have a chance to see a woman as breathtaking as me again! Sally piped up.

“You’re such an angel, Sally.”

Tossing her hair to the side, Sally came over to Melody and leaned in to whisper, “I’ll help you find a way to get him to leave your sister alone!”

Melody’s eyes lit up, not noticing how her body was already heating up. A primal desire was beginning to stir

within her.

Ashton and Sally walked out of the club one after the other. Going after Ashton, Sally asked with a smile, “Do you know who my sugar daddy is?”

“Who?”

“Louie Holt, the future head of the Holt Crew! I heard from Melody that you used to be a part of the criminal underworld. In that case, I’m sure you’ve heard of the Holt Crew before, right?”

Sally had a rocking body, and she was filled with pride as she brought up Louie.

“Does Louie know you’ve got the nerve to talk to me like this?” Ashton replied.
