Ashton drew a deep breath and struck the war drum with all the strength he could muster.

Leona, Faye, and the others joined in, their hands slamming against the drumheads as thunderous beats rolled across Terminus Cliff.

Entire ridges tilted, rocks tumbled down the slopes, and those who remained standing along the cliff had to grab onto the edge to keep their balance. Every face showed the same shock as they stared at the apocalyptic power unleashed before them.

“All 326 experts are elite fighters. None of them is weak. They were carefully selected for this ambush, and they have clearly been planning Mr. Clarkson Senior’s assassination for a long time. They won’t stop until he is dead.”

Jaden and the others panted heavily. Their plan had been simple from the start–they intended to eliminate Lawrence as quickly as possible and then move on to kill Ashton.

If the legionnaires dared to interfere, they were prepared to kill them as well. This battle couldn’t be allowed to drag on, and nothing could go wrong.

“Is the old man dead?” Jaden asked with a vicious expression.

“In theory, he should be,” Thomas replied coldly, narrowing his eyes. “Even Lawrence at his peak would struggle to endure an attack of that scale. He’s still a human, after all.”

“After today, Lawrence will no longer exist,” Micah said quietly.
