If Ryan knew, with his explosive temper, he wouldn't have been sitting calmly at the dinner table enjoying the gossip about Tatum. He had looked perfectly normal during dinner, as if he had already shaken off the negative impact Paige had brought upon him.

Conrad remained impassive. "Carter knows. The Thompson family called him last night to test his reaction."

Wiona's eyes widened in sheer astonishment. No one in the Blue family knew about this. There hadn't been a single peep from Carter's end either. Was Carter intentionally keeping Ryan in the dark? He probably didn't want his son getting entangled in the Thompson family's messy affairs again. That made perfect sense.
