Divorced CEO's Forgotten Wife Strikes Back (Riley and Bryce) novel Chapter 414

Chapter 414 Lines Crossed
Victoria had been strutting around with an arrogant attitude just moments before, but now her face had turned ashen.

Watching as nearly all her men lay sprawled on the ground, Victoria glared hatefully at Sebastian. "You... who the hell are you?"

Sebastian looked like he couldn't be bothered to acknowledge her existence. He simply turned to Riley. "Ready to head back?"

"Yeah." Riley nodded. After all this chaos, she wasn't exactly in the mood to continue the browsing.

Seeing Sebastian and Riley preparing to leave, Victoria's expression twisted with even more malice. "You've crossed the wrong person," she snarled. "Don't think you can just walk away from this. I'll find out exactly who you are, and when I do, this bitch won't be keeping those pretty little hands of hers!"

The moment those words left her mouth, Sebastian—who had been walking away—suddenly stopped dead in his tracks.

In one swift motion, he grabbed an air rifle from the shooting booth and aimed it straight at Victoria.

Riley froze, never expecting Sebastian to react so violently to the threat.

Even Sebastian's bodyguards tensed, recognizing the dangerous change in their boss's demeanor.

Victoria, seeing the cold fury in Sebastian's eyes, went rigid as ice-cold terror shot up her spine.

Those dark eyes watching her were utterly emotionless, as if he were looking at a corpse.

This man... he actually wanted to kill her.

Victoria's face went white with fear as she tried to call for her remaining men to protect her. But most were already down, and those still standing were in no condition to help anyone.

"Don't—don't do anything crazy," Victoria's voice trembled as she tried to sound threatening. "If you actually hurt me, don't think the Ivanov family will let you live. You'll never make it out of Russia alive!"

Sebastian kept the gun trained on Victoria, his face hard and cold. "The Ivanov family doesn't decide when I leave Russia. But you?" His finger tightened on the trigger. "You don't get to walk away."

The fire had nearly killed Riley. For Sebastian, anything that threatened Riley's safety had to be eliminated.

He'd keep Riley safe. Whatever it took. No one would touch her again.

Victoria wanted to run, but her feet felt like lead. She couldn't move.

Even if it was just a cheap air rifle from the stall, at this distance it could still do serious damage.

"We can talk this through!" Victoria's voice cracked as she pleaded. "Just let me go, and I'll compensate you—I'll give you money, lots of money!"

But Sebastian didn't even flinch. His finger tightened on the trigger.
