Chapter 127
Inside the glass, human blood was still steaming.
When the crew finally made it back to their place, they were too spent to even change their clothes. They just collapsed onto their bet
and passed out instantly.
Winnie took one look at them and shook her head. Absolutely not.
How could anyone sleep comfortably covered in all that grime?
Winnie rolled up her sleeves and dragged Josie toward the bathroom. It was a struggle, but she got her into the tub. With a showerhea in one hand and a bar of soap in the other, she started scrubbing the girl down from head to toe.
Winnie scrubbed her clean, dried her off, and hauled her back to bed. Once Josie was in her pajamas and tucked under the covers, she finally left.
As Winnie walked out, Josie’s eyes flickered open for a second. A smirk touched her lips before she rolled over and fell back into a dee sleep.
The whole crew slept like the dead.
They didn’t wake up for a full twenty–four hours.
When they finally rolled out of bed, hot food was already waiting for them.
God, it felt good. That kind of satisfaction was the best feeling in the world.
They crowded around the table and started digging in, shoveling food into their mouths like they were starving.
Once everyone was stuffed and happy…
Winnie cleared the table, and they got right down to business for the debrief.
Josie leaned back, a toothpick hanging out of her mouth. “Alright, time for a reality check,” she said. “Don’t go thinking leveling up your superpowers is going to stay this easy.”
“Tiers 1 through 3 are just low–tier. That’s the fast track.”
“Tiers 4, 5, and 6 are mid–tier. Things slow way down. Some people spend their whole lives stuck at Tier 5 or 6. They never break through.”
“But the jump from Tier 6 to Tier 7? That’s a total transformation. The time, experience, and pure power you need to hoard is beyond anything you can imagine.”
“If you can hit Tier 7, you’re a Champion. A legend.”
“Hit Tier–8, and you basically own this wasteland. You’re untouchable.”
“Tier–9? That’s a pipe dream. Honestly, I’ve never even heard of anyone actually reaching it.”
“Some say Tier–9 Supers are basically gods. They’ve pushed past every human limit. At that point… they aren’t even human anymore.”
“It’s the same deal for the undead.”
“Tiers 1 through 3 are just small fry. Easy kills. They’re basically just fodder to pad your kill count.”

“Tiers 4, 5, and 6 are what we call Alphas. Tier–6s are the real trip–they look stunning, and they’re sharp. Their IQ is off the charts.
“But if you ever run into a Tier–7? Run. Run as far and as fast as you can. Unless you’ve got a whole army backing you, you aren’t kil it. The scariest part is that they look exactly like us. Unless they choose to blow their own cover, you’d never know they weren’t hum
“Psychic Supers can sniff out the first six tiers easily. But once they hit Tier–7, even a Psychic can’t tell them apart from a regular
person.”
Winnie had been biting her tongue the whole time, but she finally cracked. “What about Tier–8?” she asked.
“A Tier–7 is an Undead General. A Tier–8? That’s an Undead King,” Josie said, letting out a dark, self–deprecating laugh. “If you eve cross paths with a King, don’t even bother fighting. Just give up and start thinking about which position would be the most comfort
