Chapter 128
Everyone sat up straight, stiff as boards and locked in. They were hanging on her every
Josie was in the mood to talk, so she decided to give them the full run–down.
word
“There are ten mainstream superpowers right now: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth–plus Wind, Rain, Ice, Lightning, and Mist
“Think of the last five as the ‘Lite‘ versions of the first five.”
“Generally speaking, the first five are stronger. Why? Because farming is in our DNA. Those first five are the ultimate powers for building and survival.”
“But of course, that’s not a hard rule.”
“The Metal Manipulation is the undisputed king of offense,” Josie said, giving them a live demo. “Because you can connect with every bit of metal between heaven and earth.
A small golden blade flickered into her left hand. A silver one appeared in her right.
“Remember that–every single metal! You can control all of it!”
“And on this planet, metal is the one thing we aren’t running out of.”
“But everyone’s affinity for different metals is different, so the power levels vary. Some people vibe with iron, some with aluminum, and others with rare earth elements.”
“That’s why not every Metallic Super is a powerhouse. It depends on your talent. If you’re at the Basic Tier when you awaken, you’re probably just average. But if you start out at Tier–1 or Tier–2? Then you’ve got real potential.”
“It’s a total package deal. Right behind Metallic is Lightning–the second heaviest hitter in the game.”
“Aquatic and Plant–type? Those are mostly for logistics. You don’t see them on the front lines much, but that doesn’t mean they’re just for support. If you know what you’re doing, any power can be a killer.”
“The Terrestrial superpower is all about defense. Once a Terrestrial Super hits a high enough level, they can actually tank a hit from a Tier–6 Alpha!”
“Now, Wind, Rain, Ice, and Mist are pretty rare on the battlefield. But they made the Top Ten list for a reason.”
“Wind is like a blade. Silent and invisible.”
“Rain is like a volley of arrows–lethal and precise,” Josie said, her voice sharp.
“Ice is for crowd control. It wipes out entire zones.
“And Mist? That’s an assassin’s best friend.”
Josie rapped her knuckles on the table to get their attention. “Right now, our team only has the basics–Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Plus Zane’s Lightning. We haven’t seen any Wind, Rain, Ice, or Mist users yet. People ignore them because they’re weak at the start, almost useless. But once they level up? They’ll hit every bit as hard as the core elements.”
“Besides the ten main types, there are some powers that are honestly just garbage. Things like Super Strength, Super Speed, Eagle Eye, or Advanced Audition,” Josie said. “They’re okay for taking out Basic or Tier–1 Undead, but once you hit Tier–2, they’re basically useless. You’ll be in better shape than the Norms–you won’t get sick as easily, and you’re harder to kill–but that’s about it. They don’t offer
much else.”

“Now, here’s the real shit.” Josie scanned the room, her eyes locking onto everyone there. “Elite Superpowers.”
Everyone instantly locked in. They leaned forward, terrified of missing a single syllable coming out of her mouth.
