Doomsday Revenge: Payback Time (Josie) novel Chapter 506

< Chapter 506

Chapter 506.

Josie Quinn nodded. “Looking back, she definitely was. To be able to manage a base of a million people alone and keep it organized?

She’s a talent!”

Josie was starting to feel the urge to recruit this woman.

But she wasn’t sure yet. She needed to observe more.

Women drunk on romance could be dangerous.

“What else is there between her and Malcolm?” Josie asked.

“Before Malcolm became the Base Commander, he was basically Nadia’s subordinate. Nadia saw his ambition and helped him out. She used her resources to map out the entire power network of the base and handed it all to him on a silver platter.”

“It’s safe to say that without Nadia, Malcolm wouldn’t be where he is today.”

“She’s the one who made him,” Zane answered. “And the only reason she was willing to sacrifice so much for him was likely because they had a pact. The deal was that once Malcolm took over the Official Base, they would be together.”

“But now, it looks like Malcolm is going back on his word.”

Josie asked, “Do you have a photo of her?”

“I do, but it’s from before the apocalypse.” Zane pulled a printed photo of Nadia from the file and handed it to Josie. “This is from a business gala she attended.”

Josie looked at it closely. She noticed Kira and Winnie leaning in, trying to get a glimpse, so she handed the photo to them.

Winnie took one look and sighed. “It’s a lock. She’s a love-blind person.”

Kira nodded. “I agree.”

“Why are you so sure?” Josie turned to look at them.

“She’s the same breed as me. The type who won’t stop until they hit a wall,” Kira answered. “If my fiancé hadn’t literally pushed me into a horde of zombies, I never would have believed a man could be that cruel once his heart changed!”

“Nadia is just like me. Until Malcolm truly and deeply betrays her, she won’t wake up!”
