Xander unfurrowed his brow, nodding knowingly.

I thought he wouldn’t eat, but…he called to have ingredients delivered. What time was it?! How hungry was he?!

By the time the ingredients arrived and I finished cooking, it was already 11 PM. Xander ate heartily. Watching him eat, I momentarily thought my cooking skills had been severely underestimated. Better than Liam’s, I could even conquer Michelin!

At 11:45 PM, I was extremely sleepy. I hadn’t slept well last night, I’d dozed off briefly in the afternoon, and now my eyelids were heavy again. Seeing Xander heading to the study after going upstairs, I didn’t bother asking what he was doing and went straight to my room to shower and sleep.

Around 2 AM, I was awakened by a low growl. I quickly got up, opened the door, and saw a crack in the bedroom door, with a faint light emanating from inside, probably from a floor lamp.

I walked over and pushed the door open. The scene inside shocked me.

Xander was standing there, his face filled with anger, his aura frighteningly intense, but he controlled himself well, preventing Susan from shifting into wolf. Susan, wearing a white lace see–through nightgown, was crying on the floor, her hair disheveled, looking distraught.

Realizing what had happened, I rushed to the bathroom, grabbed a bath towel to cover Susan, and sternly asked, “How did you get in here?”

Susan only sobbed, not answering.

My wolf despised Gabriel, “IT WAS OBVIOUS GABRIEL HAD ORCHESTRATED THIS! As one of the resort owners, it wasn’t difficult for him to set up this scheme and enter the villa. IT WAS SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS” My wolf agreed completely.

This kind of thing should be consensual. At the very least, there should be some reluctance. Xander clearly didn’t want her, yet he kept trying, drugging her unsuccessfully, and then having Susan sent over in the middle of the night.
