Chapter339.
Clare 10 Com My Chuck M.
1:50 AM
I awoke from a semi-conscious state, too tired to even move my fingers.
My expression held a languid contentment.
My body felt sticky, like glue had been smeared on me. Any slight movement felt like it would stick to the sheets, making me uncomfortable.
I really wanted a shower.
I wriggled like a caterpillar.
“Don’t move.”
The arm across my chest tightened, a warm kiss landing on my earlobe, “Where are you trying to escape? This is your home.” My cheeks flushed crimson. I hadn’t intended to escape, “…I want to take a shower.”
Xander opened his eyes, looking at me, “I’ll help you.”
“…No, no shower!”
I quickly said.
“If he “repaid” you again, I’d really die. I would mark him if one more round. Don’t challenge me!” My wolf tried to heed my warning and not mark him.
Enough was enough. I felt like I’d balanced out several years’ worth of estrogen in one go.
Xander, however, sat up, putting on his clothes, insisting on carrying me, “You want a shower, how can I not satisfy you? We’ll shower then sleep.”
I clutched the sheets,”…I don’t want a shower! I want to sleep!”
He pried my fingers loose.
In the bathroom.
The bathtub was full of water, sprinkled with rose petals and bubbles as I’d requested.
I sank into the water.
Looking at the man standing beside me, I mumbled quietly, “Mr. Shaw… you… you should go back.”
Xander’s handsome face turned cold.

His wolf’s expression blanked for a moment, “WHAT’S SOPHIA SAYING? SO AFTER GETTING CLOSE TO THE FUTURE ALPHA, SHE GOING TO PRETEND LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED?”
He leaned down, pinching my cheek, “Ms. Wells! Use and discard? Do you really think the future alpha is a gigolo?”
“…I wouldn’t dare.”
I shook my head.
One second I was saying I wouldn’t dare, the next I was boldly trying to wriggle out of it, “This was just adult’s fun. I wouldn’t say I used you as a gigolo, and asking you to go doesn’t mean I won’t take responsibility.”
“If not taking responsibility, then what? Tell me.”

Teorint articulate it.
Xander suppressed his anger, sitting by the tub, Sophia, you can’t prst pretend nothing happened every time after we deep together.”
I also felt a bit guilty, “Then… then as you said in the car.”
Pretend to be his girlfriend, and I’ll resolutely avoid any real feelings.
Xander reluctantly agreed, “Fine.”
I continued, “But keep it secret for a while. Our relationship wouldn’t be good for the company, would it?”
My tone was rational.
My inner thoughts were that maybe after this passionate phase, he wouldn’t want to go publie either, making a clean break. Neither of us should get too involved.
Xander was silent for a long time, “Okay.”
Then, he touched his neck, “I’m sticky too.”
I swallowed, pointing to the shower next door, “You go there.”
Xander shook his head, looking at the rose petals in the tub,”I also want a fragrant rose bubble bath.”
He started to unbutton his shirt.
I covered my face, “I’ll let you wash…”
