Dusk Snow Hides All Return (Rowan and Adrienne) novel Chapter 388

Chapter 363.

Thomas was in his study.

Linda was enjoying the evening air in the rooftop garden on the third floor.

Seeing her son arrive, she stood up happily. “What brings you here? Did your father tell you they’re bringing Anna back, and you’re

thrilled?”

Xander’s expression was impassive, though not angry, his quiet intensity was still intimidating.

“Xander, why are you looking at me like that?” Linda touched her face.

Xander gestured politely.”Please, sit.”

Linda sat.

Xander sat beside her.

“Have you had dinner? Would you like some cantaloupe?” She offered him a piece from a fruit bowl.

But we shouldn’t be too picky. If we must point out a flaw, it’s her bonding severance history.”

“Xander, I can’t honestly say I don’t mind this. You should understand.”

“You represent the Shaw Family. Soon, you will become the alpha of MoonCloud Pack. Many eyes are on you, and your father and I have to consider these things.”

Xander listened.

He leaned over, picked up a piece of cantaloupe with a fork, and offered it to his mother. “So, you disapprove?”

Linda took the fork and slowly ate the fruit.”I know you won’t listen to me if I disapprove. You’ve always been firm in your decisions, and that’s why you’re going to be the future alpha.”

“So?” Xander patiently asked.

“So, there’s nothing I can do,” Linda sighed.
