End Times Surviving with My Beastly Army
Chapter 436 Farm Plot
Cold sweat broke across his forehead in an instant.

Robin’s presence pressed down on him like the weight of something ancient and terrible, and it nearly stole the air from his lungs entirely.
It was the feeling of being pinned in the sights of a predator far beyond anything he could outrun. Goosebumps erupted down every inch of his spine. “Ms. Neel, this was a failure on our part…”
His eyes landed on the trembling wreck of a man on the ground, and something clicked into place. He drove his boot into the man with savage, cathartic force. “You worthless piece of trash!
“They put you in charge of something and you actually started thinking you were somebody. How dare you lay a hand on Ms. Neel…”
Robin’s voice came out cold and flat. “So it would’ve been perfectly fine if it were someone else.”
“No, no, absolutely not, this is entirely our fault, our management has completely failed…”

He mopped the cold sweat from his forehead with a shaking hand. His tongue felt like it had been boiled alive.
He chose his next words with excruciating care. “Ms. Neel, at the end of the day, this is still Heningford Base. The commander built this place to give survivors somewhere safe to live. Let’s not have any bloodshed today…”
The words sounded soft on the surface. Underneath them, the message was aimed like an arrow: regardless of what happened to you, Robin, this isn’t your territory, and it isn’t the place for you to be hurting people freely.
Robin let out a short, humorless sound. “I’m brand new here. If he hadn’t come after me, I’d have been perfectly happy keeping to myself.”
The man on the ground exhaled with visible, shuddering relief.
Γ “I won’t take his life,” Robin said in the very next breath. “But I’ve never been known for being gracious.”
Before anyone could react, a wet, sharp sound split the air.
The unmistakable crack of something piercing through flesh.
The man on the ground felt a sudden, biting cold below his waist. Then a white–hot explosion of agony tore straight through his nerves.
A ragged, broken scream ripped out of him.
Scarlet blood poured freely. He curled in on himself and shook violently, every trace of color draining from his face.
Langston’s subordinate went pale. His legs snapped together on pure instinct, and his voice came out unsteady. “Ms. Neel, you…”

Robin raised an eyebrow. “What? You said don’t take his life. You never said I couldn’t touch him.”
He’d walked straight into his own words and had nobody to blame for it. The man forced out a strangled laugh. “Right… absolutely right. This scoundrel had the nerve to target you, Ms. Neel. Honestly, it’s only ing to relieve him of the tools he planned to misuse. Otherwise we’d just be setting him loose to
