Robin’s base had officially begin to grow. The future looked promising.

Leaning back against the living room couch, Robin pulled up her current points balance. She hadn’t realized it before, but the moment she checked, even she was startled. She had already accumulated more than 5,000 points.
Remembering that the automatic exchange shop had just unlocked two more slots, she quickly went to see what new items had appeared. Sure enough, behind the original selection were two brand–new entries.
“Learning Potion: Increases the user’s learning ability by 60. Duration: 10 minutes. Cost: 10 points. Cooldown: 30 minutes.”
“Immunity Pendant: Blocks two fatal attacks for the wearer, including zombie virus infection from any zombie below Level 3. Cost: 300 points. Restriction: Each person may only possess one Immunity Pendant. Additional pendants are invalid.”
Robin’s eyes widened. These two items were incredible, especially the Immunity Pendant.

Not only could it block fatal attacks, it could even stop the zombie virus. In her previous life, even after ten years of apocalypse, when humanity had already started rebuilding new homes from the ruins, they still had no answer for the zombie virus.
No matter how powerful someone was, once they were scratched or bitten by a zombie, there was only one outcome–they would eventually be assimilated and turned into one of them. This pendant was essentially two extra chances at survival.
Robin had a little over 5,000 points, close to 6,000. After a moment of hesitation, she clenched her teeth and exchanged for six pendants in one go, spending 1,800 points.
After a brief thought, she went ahead and redeemed ‘Ultimate Combat Arts and 50 Learning Potions as well, burning through another thousand–plus points.
In just a few minutes, she had spent 2,800 points. Robin suppressed the sting in her chest and asked Ella to bring Dane and the others over.
“Robin, you wanted us?” Dane scratched his head, looking at her in confusion.
Robin let her gaze move across each of them in turn: Ella, Dane, Tim, Henry, Jessica. These were the people who had been with her from the very beginning.
She had exchanged for a total of six pendants, and keeping one for herself, she placed the remaining five on the table.
Ella looked at the plain, unremarkable pendants curiously. “Robin, what are these?”
“They’re for you.” Robin tapped the tabletop lightly with her fingertip. “You were the first people to come to Shangri–La, and you’ve been with me the longest. These pendants can block two fatal injuries for each of you. More importantly, they can stop the virus from any zombie below Level 3.”
By the time they heard that this unremarkable little pendant could block two fatal attacks, they were

already stunned.
But when they learned it could even stop infection from any zombie below Level 3, every one of them sucked in a sharp breath. For a moment, they were so shocked they forgot how to speak.
Jessica was the first to recover. She took a step back and waved both hands. “No, no Robin, this is far too valuable. You already saved my life and my child’s life, and I’m grateful enough as it is. Ever since I got here I haven’t really helped you with anything. I can’t take this.”
Tim nodded in agreement. “She’s right, Robin, I won’t lie, this is unbelievably tempting, but we really can’t accept it.”
“You can, and you will.” Robin smiled faintly, but her tone left no room for argument. “I don’t think of myself as some especially generous person, but you’re my most important companions. If I have something, then you should have it too. Besides, I got these for you in the first place, and not just for you. Sooner or later, everyone in this base is going to have one. You’re just getting yours early. Take them. And if you keep refusing, I’m going to get mad.”
The group exchanged looks, their expressions complicated. Ella’s eyes turned red with tears. “Robin, why are you so nice? Boohoo…”
