Chapter 237 Power Yet Unknown
Jessica was amused by how nervous Ivart looked. “Relax*
She spoke gently. “Most of the people here were saved by Robin too, so you don’t need to feel uncomfortable.”
“Saved by Robin…
Ivan’s eyes widened in shock.
Almost everyone in this base had been saved by Robin?
Just how strong was she?
No wonder Dylan had said during their first meeting that Robin was the real one in charge.
She truly deserved that title.
“Jessica, nothing happened at the zoo these past couple of days, right?” Robin asked.
“Of course not. Everyone’s been doing fine.”
Jessica hooked her arm around Robin’s, but she couldn’t suppress her curiosity. “Martin and Drake…”
“They stayed at Redwood Military Base,” Robin said.
“What?!”
Jessica couldn’t help but gasp, her expression instantly turning tense.
“Robin, then how did you all get back? No one got hurt, right?!”
“Jessica, you misunderstood.”
Robin said helplessly, “Martin stayed at Redwood Military Base because someone needed to manage it. After thinking it through, he was the best choice, so the two of them stayed there.”
Γ
“I see…”
Hearing that they hadn’t suffered any losses, Jessica let out a sigh of relief.
But soon after, she suddenly realized something, and her voice rose in surprise. “Redwood Military Base needed someone to manage it?! Wh-what does that mean?”
Robin smiled. “It means that starting today, Redwood Military Base is now under our control.”
“R-really?”
Jessica could hardly believe her ears.
Redwood Military Base was a military base!
12:10 pm ppp
when managed to take control of even that?
“Of course it’s real?”
Ella lifted her chin proudly. “Robin’s amazing. Whatever she wants, she gets”
“Well that’s true.”
Jessica nodded in agreement.
Strangely, after the initial shock, she accepted it pretty quickly.
The two of them walked inside arm in arm, chatting closely. Compared to them, Ivan felt completely out of place.
He was so awkward he didn’t even know where to put his hands, so he could only follow behind them. trying to act calm.
Fortunately, Jessica was perceptive and quickly noticed his discomfort. She warmly said, “Let’s head inside. Everyone’s been worried about you.”
As she spoke, Ivan suddenly caught a flash of white out of the corner of his eye. When he carne back to his senses, he was instantly terrified.
A tiger!
A massive white tiger, its fur patterned and its golden eyes filled with caution. It let out a low growl, staring straight at him as an overwhelming pressure rolled toward him like a tidal wave.
Ivan felt like his breathing stopped. He was frozen in place, his mind completely blank, unable to even take a step.
Thankfully, Robin spoke at that moment. “Snowy, don’t be rude.”
The tense atmosphere instantly eased.
Snowy shook his head, gave Ivan a proud look, then happily ran to Robin’s side, pushing his large head into her arms.
“Mommy, Mommy, I missed you so much!”
Robin hugged his head and smiled. “You’re already three years old. Why are you still so clingy?”
“I don’t care.”
Snowy huffed. “You never take me with you when you go out. So annoying! And who is this person? I’ve never seen him before. I think he’s a little dangerous!”
“Dangerous?”
