End Times Surviving with My Beastly Army
Chapter 302 A Simple Task

“Let me ask you something. Besides pulling back your own ability, can you absorb energy from external sources too?”
“Well…”
Abigail shook her head honestly. “I’ve never tried.”
“Then we’ll test it later.
Robin had a bold idea.
But it was just an idea for now. She needed to see it for herself.
She hadn’t expected that this trip would bring her face–to–face with her childhood tutor, Yvonne, and on top of that, uncover someone like Abigail with such a rare ability.
That was one hell of a bonus.
As for everyone else, their abilities were fairly standard. Among the four strength–type users, one named Lucas Ruell stood out as the strongest, while the rest were about the same.
Of the remaining four, Sharon’s storage–space ability was clearly gifted.
And Abigail was basically a cheat code.
After getting a general sense of their strength, Yvonne suddenly said, “It’s a shame. We used to have a student named Nathan. He was probably the strongest among them. A stone ability user. He could harden parts of his body and make himself resistant to blades and bullets.
“Ms. Dean, he’s gone now. We don’t need to bring him up again. It just makes me sick,” Sharon said coldly. Yvonne couldn’t help smiling. “When Nathan left, he must’ve come to talk to you, didn’t he?”
“But I’m not leaving!”
Sharon said without hesitation. “I’m not like him. I won’t turn my back on everyone!”
Jay sighed. “Sharon, everyone has their own path. Staying stuck here forever isn’t a solution either. Nathan is capable. If he found a better option, then as teachers, we support that.
“Anyone here who wants to leave, we won’t stop you. As long as you can take care of yourselves, that’s enough for us.”
Sharon snorted. She hated betrayal more than anything.
And Nathan’s betrayal was something she wouldn’t forget.
No one was in great shape right now. Since they’d decided to build a base here, Robin and the others weren’t in a rush to move on.

Chapter 302 A Simple Task
“How many zombies are in the school?”
Finished
“Probably 400 to 500. We never counted exactly,” Jay answered. The campus was huge. No one had time to count zombies.
They just knew there were a lot.
And with parts of the perimeter wall broken, more could wander in, so the number was always changing.
Robin smiled faintly. “That’s fine. I’ve got a task for you.”
She pulled out a self–heating instant stew.
The moment it appeared, the students‘ eyes went wide.
Self–heating instant stew!
And that wasn’t all.
Robin took out a box of buttery crab pasta.
The air grew tighter as people held their breath.
Then came instant noodles, milk, yogurt drinks..
Things they hadn’t tasted in a long time.
Robin set them down.
Is she… giving this to us?
The thought barely formed before their throats tightened, saliva pooling in their mouths.
Swallowing sounds filled the room.
Robin smiled. “Go check the school. Find any weak points in the walls, places that might be breached. Map out where zombies are more concentrated and where the stronger ones are. Report back.”
She paused, letting their eyes burn on the food. “Top performers get first pick.”
Two simple words lit them up.
First pick.
That was all it took.
They were already on the verge of rushing out when Robin raised a hand. “Hold on.”
She tossed them a few bottles of water and some hard tack. “Eat first. Get your strength up.”
Hard tack was dry and tough, but with all that food sitting right there, nothing could stop them now. They stuffed it down, gulped water, and the empty ache in their stomachs eased just enough.
