End Times Surviving with My Beastly Army
Chapter 309 The First Line of Defense
Since it was their first day, Robin didn’t set the bar too high.
Finished
She only had them clear out all the zombies in the admin building, then do a basic cleanup and set aside space for daily living.
Ravenholt High Base would start from this building.
Starting the next morning, task after task came down from Robin.
Every student was run off their feet. The admin building was cleared, but there were still plenty of zombies across the campus.
To keep other zombies from getting in, on day one, Robin had them set up a perimeter of razor wire around the building as their first line of defense.
It wasn’t an easy job, but with their numbers, they finished it in one morning.
Once the defenses were up, they began a full cleanup inside.
After the zombie invasion, the entire building was a mess, grime and blood everywhere, mixed with dust and caked into every surface. Cleaning it was exhausting.
But everyone was fired up, especially since each completed task came with enough food and water.
With their strength holding up, no one dared slack off.
Everyone worked together. While the students stayed busy on campus, Robin and her group headed out to scout the outside.
By noon the next day, looking at the clean, bright building, everyone let out a long breath. Sunlight streamed through the windows, and for a moment, it felt like another world.
“We’ve been stuck in the basement for so long. Now that we’re suddenly getting this much sunlight, why do I kind of want to hide from it?” one of the girls said.
Sharon was tidying a couch nearby and joked, “Maybe because we’ve been out of the light so long, we forgot what it feels like.”
“Hahaha…”
The room broke into laughter
Sunlight really was a magical thing.
Just standing in that soft golden glow lifted their mood.
Since the apocalypse began, the weight on their hearts finally eased a liule.
“Sharon, bringing Robin back with you might’ve been the best thing you’ve ever done. She saved Ms. Dean, and she’s got real skills. We really lucked out.”

Sharon let out a breath. “Robin’s amazing. Her friends are too. Makes you wonder, we’re all human, so how can there be this much difference between us?”
Robin’s arrival had brought them hope.
The group sat around chatting, relaxed and at ease.
Then suddenly, the roar of engines came from downstairs.
At the same time, something slammed and shattered with a loud crash,
“What is that?”
Sharon rushed to the window, glanced down, and her heart dropped. “It’s Tyrant Base!”
Just like Dane had said, Tyrant Base already thought they owned them. Last time, they failed to take Ravenholt High, but this time, several modified off–road vehicles smashed straight into the school gate.
The already fragile gate broke apart instantly. They didn’t slow down at all, charging straight into campus.
A man’s wild laughter echoed along with it. “Hahaha! Girls of Ravenholt High, didn’t expect this, huh? I’m back!”
He leaned halfway out the open window, arms waving, his greedy eyes sweeping the area. “Stop hiding. Things haven’t been easy for you lately, have they?
“No food, right? Bet you’re starving. Don’t let my girls get too skinny. That’d break my heart…”
“Oh, no.”
Sharon’s voice tightened.
Robin’s armored vehicle is still parked on campus.
If they see it…
